What I don't understand is if the Wildlife Team knows it gets uploaded here anyway, why not release the links here themselves?
"Why don't they pay for additional bandwidth and post links here, themselves?"
With that said, one potential move could be to provide a torrent link and have a 1-2Gbit box do the initial seeding. In less than a minute they would have an extremely healthy swarm to feed their subscribers for weeks to come at minimal cost and effort, plus goodwill from this community.
I'm using Ad Block Pro, for Chrome. It prevents UploadHaven from auto-downloading the PUPs, but anytime I clicked on the download button, it would redirect to some other site trying to force me to download a PUP. Right clicking on the download button showed that it was a redirect site built into the button, so its completely unavoidable (if it was a file download, it would allow save file as, but it showed that it's extension was .html, indicating a redirect system instead, forcing you to go to the redirect system to even get an opportunity to download the actual file.)
Redirects are common, as is sites wanting to have you download PUP's(Doesn't mean its OK, just that it is common). However your browser settings should never allow it by having alerts, flash, pop-ups and redirects disabled and automatic download set to ask.
Also recommend changing to uBlock Origin and if you care about tracking, Privacy Badger. Adblock has a long and questionable past, not sure if they're still doing that whole ad-allowed-for-money thing? Pro itself got a very bad reputation a few years back by charging for licenses but never actually giving those out. Guess that's why it's free now, no one wanted to touch it.
