Show us 2030, 3010 or 4030, huh? :) - it's not exist and never will be, for nowday 50 -it's low-end gaming gpu.
That's your point of view.. Then logically Nvidia should move the numbering, right? That's a waste of numbers after all.. Ti,OC, Giga, Mega, Extreme OC Gaming, Super, Hyper shouldn't be used.. :)

Nvidia typically skipped 2-3 generations on the low-end cards. What would be the point of releasing a low-end with each line? There wouldn't be any major difference..maybe better driver support.
But you are basically right..Currently "GT" probably won't exist anymore and they don't have much meaning like before.

That's agree.

Let's see again - what is low-end xx50 - 32 rop, so what you pretend for xx30 & xx10 series - 16 & 8 rop - it's level of new igpu-s.
Stop clinging to the past.;)
Enough offtop, present WL on UE5 and need at least xx60+ gpu for hi-settings, even masterpiece optimization won't help you to play smoothly at 1650.

Kerpal Castaway Camp
>>> G-Drive Download <<<

Sandbox map for OldWildLife, heavy on the VRAM (may experience texture quality reductions).
Contains the main castaway inspired camp, 2 caves, mountains and few other alterations to the beach area.
The hut in the camp is a custom mesh, where I added a little area for Kerpali pets.

Let's see - 16 is 3 gen ago, and 50 - the low-end gaming card always was
god these things are advancing so fucking fast
I still feel pretty good with my 1650 laptop but then I realise exactly what you said here... and then I proceed to wonder at how it's managing 45fps+ in almost everything I try on it, and at just how much more powerful the latest gen cards are.
but...yyyeaaaa a 1650 is pretty much bottom of the barrel tech that you can still find new in stores at the moment...so...

I don't mind the GPU talk, the thread was kinda slow recently anyways... But this argument is essentially pointless, it's a point of view of low end and not low end.
All that matters is bang for your buck and what runs what currently, those are facts.
Love you guys though :)

Also - Yeah, no the game is not optimized, they chose to not even pursue that yet. Though eventually it will be something they do.

they have to tackle that right now im pretty sure, otherwise the port to UE5 will be a horrible fiesta.
thats probably what they mean by "cleaning up code and assets etc."
afterwards they ofc have to continue because the port will require work afterwards too and i expect optimization to continue being a topic even post release because thats how most games are nowadays by nature of being more complex than lets say 20 years ago.

but its important that they fix important issues rather quickly, even during beta, for example a memory leak. whilst i have no info about it in detail ofc and cant say how "deep" the issue is rooted in the code or if its a UE4 issue, it is never a good thing to let a memory leak fester for years nonetheless.
i just wonder if the devs dont have an issue with it themselves during work because i for sure run into it quite often and the only fix is to hard shutdown the game and if i see the system memory reaching the ~16gb in time i just reload the map.
rather annoying.

It helps me to get rid of this, just go to the main menu of the game, and then load the map again.

Entirely agree, probably the most annoying issue, that should be addressed before anything else even if it delays content release.

Yeah they mentioned that works for them, if they catch it in time. Same here.
Problem is.. If you've been building in Sandbox for a while and you are pretty focused on what you're building, you may forget about it. And because the "sandbox autosave" feature doesn't actually save. It can come seemingly out of nowhere and can wipe a good chunk of time put into your progress.

A work around being there great.
But the issue is still a feels bad :(

Have they evovled the story or the actual game yet, or are they just adding more animations and poses like they've been doing for a year now?
- New game map is being worked on at a good pace. Compare how it looked from the release of the 2021 Official Demo to the latest build and we're seeing serious development of settlements, enviornments, and possible set piece locations.

- Motion capture for general non-porn animations in the story mode is being conducted with a third party company rn. All Sex animations all the way to release will remain manually keyframed.

- Three wildlife (no pun intended) enemy models have been developed, with one [the Gobbler] having been fully rigged and is currently WIPed when it comes to combat and idle animations. It has yet to be implemented into the game at the time of writing.

- Literally every Sex Minigame implemented to date has a narrative purpose

- Story and factions have been internally streamlined over time to be more consistent according to a lead dev on the server. The main enemy faction of the game wears distinct skull masks and are NOT part of the team Max is with. At least the story isn't an avatar ripoff now.

Do we know anything about the story?
