How come after 7 years this game is stil just a scene viewer...?
I rember thinking of downloading this game 5 years ago, but thinking "meh i'll give it some more time.".
Now 5 years later i checked it out..
And, yup, it's just a scene viewer, pick character, watch one of 10 animations, maybe move some placeble objects...
That's it...
How the hell is that 7 years of game dev time...XD

early in development
(7+ years of development)
I'm sure you'll agree that this game IS still in early development despite how many years it has been, I mean that's essentially what you bring up in almost all of your posts right? my point still stands that this game is STILL an early development for optimization purposes for dev builds. nothing to argue there. You can be upset if you want but whining about JUST the optimization is pretty silly considering the actual product is a ways off and optimization comes later on.

Bruh this is supposed to be a story driven RPG not VAM. Also the sandbox interface is way more bloated than it used to be and they've gone through like three different animation systems that have all been rolled into each other over time which makes it even messier.
uhhh yea? I'm not arguing against any of those points. Your correct the end product IS supposed to be a single player driven RPG game, and we ain't there yet. If you're expecting these dev builds to just suddenly be 100% complete then I've got bad news for ya.

Lmao what ?
:KEK::KEK::KEK::FacePalm:
idk if you haven't seen the recent dev builds but you have the ability to import custom meshes, as in you can make 3D objects and import them, there's also a lot of coding aspects, I was literally able to make a five nights at freddies proof of concept game using the wild life sandbox. We already have a working PONG video game inside of this game.

You might havent seen the development that long. I once did when wildlife still at its village and fighting tiger stage, and the wildlife team have progress so much from number of people and number of animation. True there might be some development problem that they didn't know exist back then, but still even comparing this to subverse and most game on this site, it is a good one. And compare this when they are still figuring out how to make a model, its like a very deep progress

I really wish we could have the boobs slider on futas to reach a flat chest set of values so you could have a true femboy of sorts. Nothing against Max but the options you have on futas just can't compare to make such type of character.

Something similar could be applied to the girls. Maybe Maya's and Jenny Futa's could have that?

can someone give me a highheel props? or just instructions how to import custom blender models
There is one on both of the discord servers

For importing models from Blender, you first need to save/export it as a compatible file type (.obj is fine), then when in the sandbox editor, under the Prototype section of objects there is one called User Mesh. Place the User Mesh and find where it asks for a Mesh Path and select the .obj file you made. Then you can save it as a Collection to use it again in the future

You are saying this as if it is my fault. I am not the one who spent 7+ years to do nothing more than a glorified animation viewer. Literally not my fault. At this point it shouldn't be in "early development" and I will shit on it because it deserves to be shit on.

Do you wanna know what normal developers do in 7th year of their game? They either develop their final dlc for it or announce sequel is in development. What do we have here? A half assed glorified animation viewer that is NOT EVEN HALFWAY FINISHED.

wait a min... the last time I decided 6 years ago that I needed to give this game some time. And is it still a sandbox game?
for real? supporters should revolt.
There was build with Demo campain. They had voiced dialogues mocapped every animation. models expecially how well they bend and library of assets for sandbox is also huge.

Their demo worked, was bug free, and they proven to me that they can put out cool product.

sadly now its sandbox and they sometimes remove assets like skin textures with dirt and wounds.

the Star Citizen of Porn Games
At least Star Citizen has reached the point of quite a bit of playability. Like it's actually in a state where I can hop on with a bunch of friends and play for hours. This game doesn't even have a single gameplay loop yet lmao.

Sure, the story is non-existent, but why dont you play storygames for that if thats so fking important for you?
After 7+ years there is NO excuse for this. Like you can write as many walls of text as you want but you're not going to convince anyone that this is acceptable when there is supposed to be an RPG element to the game. Even if they implemented something very basic at least it would show an attempt at moving in this direction. As of now they have nothing to show and you should be embarrassed trying to defend that. They either need to announce it's going to remain a sandbox or try to implement SOMETHING.

I never said anything was your fault though... you have zero influence on anything so why would there be blame? I was bascially agreeing with you.

I've shot off this opinion a few times before here but generally some folks here take it almost personally that something that they're not even working on isn't coming up to snuff.

Add another 7 and it will still only amount to a scene viewer. Tool around in ue5 for 4-5 months, then launch wildlife and you'll laugh.

My 2¢. This is a hussle that pushes something that sits on the edge of a minimally viable product, in perpetuity. I mean think of it this way - where is the impetus to actually finish this product if they're likely to make more off a slow patreon dev cycle than actual sales of a 1.0 release? You don't do patreon for a finished product, so why rush to a "release?". Hell, just do the big brain move and put the onus on the end user to make up their own content, so if they're not satisfied, then its clearly an end user problem while you slowly add/remove/rework things and release roadmaps and concept art like thats real progress.

Besides, they're developing on someone elses money. Normally a studio gets set funding or self funds, then has to work off a budget/schedule and a general scope/concept for a game and from that starting point you can build something out and work towards a finished product. Wildlife as a product right now is nebulous, vague, and directionless. The development speaks for itself, loudly, but some users here have never had a post nut clarity it seems. Patreon supporters don't demand milestones like a studio, so they'll take the drip of whatever is called production and the spigot stays open for yet another month of funding.

Reminds me of "The Day Before". No matter how obvious it was that the game was going to be a disaster, there were still a shocking number of people who defended it right up until release. The game finally comes out and then just like that, they all vanished. People don't see the problems, not because they can't, but because they refuse to.
