they don't really actively make up for anything if they do that, all they do is slap a better component in the game sys req
Well, I call it brute force when you put higher requirement on hardware to compensate for bad optimization.

seems better optimized than the latest version, at least on my toaster.
in any case to booster the fps by 50% just disable the motion blur and lower the Fx quality (they don't seem to make any diff in this version).
Than if u want more lower the shadow and apply reshade, tweaking a couple of fx you have better results than the game itself maxed out

They did put RTX 2060 as minimum and RTX 3070 as recommended GPU on the steam page for their demo. This was later changed to GTX 1060 as minimum, still RTX 3070 as recommended. With the state of the chips market in the world today, get a RTX 3070 or within the range will cost you an arm or a leg.

The game is badly optimized. You could have the best rig ever and it still prone to hard crash and lock up your comp.

The kickstarter was about hire more people afaik. Not about turn it into a rpg or not, although labeled as a "action rpg" among other tags on Steam.
It depends on where you go. I went to Micro Center a few weeks ago because my RX 580 and my brother and I each got a 3060 ti at retail price. It helps that Micro Center isn't having it when it comes to scalpers. Each customer can only purchase one GPU every 30 days from there.

That said Wild Life runs better than ever on my 3060. I thought about upgrading my CPU later too but with this I don't need to yet.

Well, over here there is almost 3 times the price mark up on gpu's. And you need to sign up on waiting lists to get notified when something get in stock. When you can almost buy a nice used car for the cost of a gpu. I rather hold of and wait to see it things become better, no rush :p

Using reshade instead of ingame settings is actually always the best course of action. With a bit of experience it just takes a minute or two to make a new setup and it's always better than what vanilla looks like by half the performance cost.

I would wait before this game is better optimized. With nanite and other technologies even devs with low experience should manage to get a proper performance. But the game is pretty bad optimized i agree. Needs more work.

Yikes, completely fair. I really hope this chip shortage ends sooner than later.

No big deal. If the kickstarter doesnt meet the goals it will change nothing, we will still continue to work on the game and get the funding through patreon. We will still finish this game.
wouldnt by end of the day indiegogo the better Plattform (despite the fees?)

Does the VR mode feel like complete and utter jank to anyone else? The sex scene controls don't work consistently, the camera angles are out of wack, especially in the pov mode, and generally VR feel like an afterthought that's poorly implemented. The menus are not even adapted to VR. Were there any posts by devs on VR even?

To me the game runs smoothly, i have a Ryzen 2600x, Gtx 1070, SSD Samsung 860, all maxed. Minimum fps 30 - Max 61 (with vsync enabled). An RTX 3060-3070 (especially here in Europe) is economic suicide.

Are we able to set animations for multiple characters yet? The last time I checked was 30 days ago.

Another feature that is needed is head tracking during an animation. That means the neck and above bones would be excluded from whatever sex animation is taking place, and instead the character would head track (LookAt) to either the first person camera, or an invisible mesh inbetween a characters eyes.
