or I did not understand your question, but as I understand it here.
You have 4GB of VRAM. It sounds to me like you don't have sufficient VRAM to run the game. There's no excuse for the current performance. 40 fps in a blank, dark sandbox on a 3050 ti? Yes, I know, it's on the lower end for a gaming laptop but it's certainly within the requirements. There's absolutely no reason that performance should ever be that bad in a literal empty space without hardly any lighting. Not to mention that I can hardly get 5 fps in the "actual game" even at minimum settings. This is beyond insane, especially since it's actually gotten worse since the first UE5 release
And that's all folks.lower end for a gaming laptop
its most likely a error with the game since its sorta buggy atm specially since they went to unreal engine 5 id just wait till the next update or relaunch it and try again see if it continues happening or try updating your gpu driversView attachment 2599297
it ran just fine before and now that i reinstalled it, this shit keeps popping up, is this on my end or the games and do any of you horny but kind souls know how to fix this?
The question is: did anyone managed to fix the textures issue?its most likely a error with the game since its sorta buggy atm specially since they went to unreal engine 5 id just wait till the next update or relaunch it and try again see if it continues happening or try updating your gpu drivers
I can run Elden Ring on this thing lol. There's no excuse for any game with this amount of money coming in to be almost unplayable even in an empty room on a slightly-above-middle-of-the-road GPU. Other games have handled UE5 fine yet this one with hundreds of thousands of dollars coming in and a huge team is so poorly optimized it can't do an empty room? It's fine for a game to have demanding requirements if there's a good reason. This is just poor optimization and nobody should be making excuses for the devs. You have 4GB of VRAM. lol I'm not building a gaming rig just so I can play porn games. I have a next-gen console for actual gaming and since I need a laptop for college/work anyway I spent slightly more (like 200 dollars) to get one that can run the vast majority of games and that has a better display and better performance even outside of gaming. Gaming is an afterthought, let alone wild life lmao. Not to mention that I haven't found any other game on this site that I can't run. It's silly. And that's all folks.
The funny thing Is that today you can buy a 6650xt for less than 300€ on a desktop buy people still pretend to waste Money on mobile gpu...
For some reason, when I load your save, it doesn't look like your video. As if there was no fog. My settings are on Epic. I'm using UE4 but this scene was also done on UE4 right? By the way, how to run the camera sequence? Clicking on Event Controller and Play nothing happens.
the UE4 version doesnt really matter anymore. it wont get maintained.I have a strange bug in the UE4 version, when I go into the game options, set the physical animations to FeetLocked, click Apply, change from FeetLocked to Disabled, click Back and then Discard, the game completely changes the shadows. Is it only me?
Looks like for some reason the weather and time is changing. More fog/clouds, higher sun. Then the other is less fog/clouds and lower sun.I have a strange bug in the UE4 version, when I go into the game options, set the physical animations to FeetLocked, click Apply, change from FeetLocked to Disabled, click Back and then Discard, the game completely changes the shadows. Not everyone has a fixed place or life situation so they can build and use a desktop PC, either cause they travel a lot, currently are not living in a house they plan to stay or a lot of etceteras in which building a desktop PC would even be a reasonable option at all to consider m8And that's all folks.

TL;DR this game cannot be compared to triple ayy releases such as Elden RingI can run Elden Ring on this thing lol. EDIT: Not to mention that this game used to run on INTEGRATED FUCKING GRAPHICS a few years ago and fast forward a bit, what do we have? A game that can't even come close to running on medium-end GPUs, has less actual game content, and doesn't even look much better. That people financially support this is insane. This is one of the worst games on the site, and probably the most obvious patreon scam. How it's so highly reviewed and people come out to defend it, I will never understand.
It took me around 60 seconds to find a video of rtx 3050 running even an unoptimized as fuck game like cyberpunk 2077 at 1080p, 60fps using "high" settings. And that's all folks.
The funny thing Is that today you can buy a 6650xt for less than 300€ on a desktop buy people still pretend to waste Money on mobile gpu...
Yeah, op should have bought an rtx 4090 just to play wild life's empty sandbox world at 60fps. Clearly it is his (hardware)problem.TL;DR this game cannot be compared to triple ayy releases such as Elden Ring
You're not wrong but I was just pointing out that your hardware is probably the main issue. Yes, the game is HIGHLY unoptimized right now but just to give you a bit of perspective, there are those who are able to run the game pretty well. These are the types of people that usually don't have a problem funding games like this and others such as Star Citizen which also requires some very beefy hardware to run well. This is one of those games that don't scale well for everyone and that's made painfully obvious for many and more than likely the majority of users considering that most people are not going to have very beefy hardware, unfortunately.
