I'm not sure about others but the anonfile one doesn't work for me, like the site doesn't load, the rest works fine, the gofile one is quite slow for me though. off topic am i the only one who can't access the anonfile site? like everytime i click on the link on any of the games here the site doesn't load.

No big deal. If the kickstarter doesnt meet the goals it will change nothing, we will still continue to work on the game and get the funding through patreon. We will still finish this game.
I guess release early access on steam with a price tag is a no go as it could eat to much into your patreon income?

Its just way way way too early for EA. And frankly, we just planned to work on the game until its ready to ship, then release it. Then work on the next one... Wild Life 2, or bigger story-add on, playable Kerpali storyline, add more of the features the community requested that didnt make it into the initial release.

Should think adding dlc content would be a better way to go before jump right onto a next game, at least for a game such as this. All you really need for early access is a playable release that represent the game. You would also be featured in steam promotions and recommended for other users. The visibility of your game would increase by A LOT. Consider steam got over 120 million active users a month. As it is now, it's more like the usual suspects that dive into steams NSFW content that might find your demo...

Any chance you extend the deadline on Kickstarter?

If you're already getting money on patreon, why did you need a kickstarter at all?
seeing as I'm only 2 pages left to read to catch up and I'm now having a lazy fit, to answer what others seemingly *assuming here based on 2 pages I gave up reading to catch up on* did not answer yet. short answer: its not about the money FROM the Kickstarter they are primarily seemingly after, its the extra publicity as a means to an end, they want more team members to seemingly do a final push for the end release, Patreon is one of those things that does not get as much publicity as kickstarter. I have used kickstarter and backed a project before, with Kickstarter's site, anyone is free to browse projects active on the site, patreon does not have a similar aspect to the site, so just by putting up a kickstarter, whether it succeeds in the goal of funding or not, you get extra eyes on your project even if you do not succesfully meet your fund raising goal, so just by putting it out there, they get what seems to be their bigger goal of finding more developers/animators/designers to add to the team.

so, to summarize, they're making a Kickstarter with the primary goal being more development team members, secondary goal to be a final funding push to try and pay for those new team members for a big push right before release.

obviously I'm not a part of the dev team, so take what I'm saying with a "grain of salt" however thats what I read into by way of reading the post and what I know about the two prior mentioned sites of Kickstarter and patreon.

Main difference is that he search feature doesn't work for NSFW on Patreon. They're ashamed to tell they make a lot of money from porn.

shocking to nobody at all that has been alive in the last 10 years....its like its actually something to be ashamed of, human needs. my god what a world we live in.

sarcasm aside, it seems that sites that try and be both "family friendly" as well as "adult friendly" end up just acting twofaced *glares at twitch* even sites that should not have been two-faced. fun times we live in.

Kickstarter doesn't market or advertise for you though. You as the creator of the kickstarter is responsible to draw attention to your kickstarter just as creators on Patreon is responsible to draw people to their patreon. So screaming from the top of a rooftop come check out our patreon, or come check out or kickstarter have about the same effect. As for release, looking at the state of things now, that more than likely a few years off still.

Only times I been drawn towards a kickstarter is when I been made aware of it. Like creators did some means of publicity/awareness of it. Very few people just randomly visit kickstarter to browse through things. As I mentioned above in another post. If they had done early access on steam, steam would both promote and do recommendations as they do with other games on the platform. A demo doesn't qualify for either.
