The current build seems to have texture streaming issues, wait for the next build, should be out in a week or two. Also is that even the highest settings? My game kinda looks like that when i set everything to medium.

First... Epic's support, UE4 is officially no longer supported by Epic itself, which means also no improvement for the player as much as more difficulties for the developers... if a developer decides to stick with UE4 the longer the wait for the change lasts greater the gap between competitors. As a Game Developer myself I would consider that a suicide. I keep myself always up to date, even if that means having to learn again and redo things sometime even from scratch... but at least I never feel walking backwards like a lobster!Hi guys,

Second... yes it means harder requirements for the players to play, and also for the developers because the editor of UE has more technical requirements than the final game, but in general it favors performance improvements over time, increasing number of resources to optimize both workflow for the developer and gameplay for the player. just to give an example... previous version, UE5.2, was a pure nightmare for my laptop, with immediate crash on launch and my desperate fear my laptop could give up on me and me having to give up my game development dreams. The version 5.3 came just in time to save me with no more crashes, performance improvements, and new tools to enjoy and dream bigger.
Speaking of dreaming... here the third reason why UE5 is a must for me and should be a must for everyone... the incredible things Unreal Engine allows to create and enjoy and the list is so long it might take forever to list and explain them all!
Last thing I can tell you... if your computer's specs are better than mine [can see them down below at the bottom] you're gonna have a great UE5 experience. I run WildLife at ultra in 4K at 3480x2160 resolution. FPS are not crazy but i'm fine with those 20 it goes with.

Ue 5 is such a dumpster fire especially when it comes to performance I don't understand why people still think new=better at this point.
UE 4
Pros:
- It is well documented and known by anyone who ever used it at this point(not just by developers but players/modders too)
- Its performance is good on most systems, more people will buy your game if you use it
- Still very good looking infact most people can't tell difference between ue5 and ue4 unless developers specifically state which engine they are using
- Its not supported by epic anymore
UE 5
Pros:
- Is newer so epic will support it
- May or may not look slightly better
- Is newer and not so well documented and known
- Its performance is trash, almost all games made with ue5 are guaranteed to have bad performance on most systems, less people will buy your game if you use it
I just don't get it. Maybe after 5 or 10 years ue 5 will become something good and people would have better computers by then. But until that time comes ue 5 is one of the worst engines you can use right now.
