As long as you can find a 3D model and can import it into a program like Blender, yea. The rest is just about taking the mesh that you want.
It is apparently not enough for the people who like story driven porn games to have the overwhelming majority catering to them, no, it must be all games.
I have to say that I'm pretty hyped for the direction this game is taking, as thus far it's the best sandbox porn game I've ever played. I hope they lean even harder into filling this particular niche.

from a marketing standpoint this is the best they could focus since player creativity is the best source of long term motivation.
a good story and game are no bad thing, dont get me wrong, but theres only so much u can get out of a linear story unless its an open world with building, crafting and side quests to keep u entertained otherwise. sandbox is a building mode though so in the end an ingame building feature with ressource farming would probably be a downgrade.
personally i can still see many ways to improve sandbox and make it even more interesting. we already have many people creating "games" or visual novels with illusion "games". steve and his team just need to give us more options to customize characters without breaking the skeletons/scenes and at some point i could see wildlife's sandbox being good for stuff like that too.
if we also had some more "freedom" for animations that would literally be the icing on the cake or stuff like getting rid of the cumshot/climax as a fixed part of certain animations and simply making it an option to select for every scene.

lmao these guys prefer a story driven game with the same overused plots? Since when someone watches porn for the story? I want to try out poses with my own made characters, than fall asleep over some visual novel with assets stolen from koikatsu or honey select.

I was able to create a scene where the input automation feature is pressed once, causing the characters/props to become visible, at the same time that a camera is possessed. What I can't figure out is how to make pressing that key binding twice switch to a different camera and/or change visibility for certain props/characters. I see the event dispatcher "On key repeat" but it is not working for me. plz halp

The game started out as story driven and gradually alienated portion of the players when it started adding hundreds of animations and sandbox while not making much progress on story, it would be fine if both were progressing at the same time but they don't.
Animations are nice but they are still just very static, there is nothing dynamic about them, at most some offer you option to choose one variation or switch from pussy to ass and that's it, there is nothing really interesting about them, same loop repeating with slightly different speed, there are no reactions from the NPCs, they don't seem to really orgasm, change the pace on their own, you control everything, it doesn't differ much from Honey Select, the only thing it does a bit better is cumshots since you get actual liquid but it's still not properly simulated and you just get some small drops and texture change on the part of the body given particle lands.
For a proper sandbox the game would have to excel in the animation department by adding dynamic animations that change on the fly as the characters get closer to orgasm, change if they like or don't given position or pace, there is no way to control other aspects too like say stomach bulge which is just a static part of given animation, size of the dick doesn't matter, moreover you can't customize characters that much unless you go into sandbox and mod the characters body to have drastically different size and shape than default models, game uses multiple rigs so animations aren't all compatible with each other, you can't adjust penis size either.
It's fine if you want to make animations and turn it into renpy vn but it's not fun to play since to achieve anything you have to use the sandbox which is not that friendly to use, at this point you might as well use Virt-A-Mate, unlike Wild Life it actually lets you easily import body morphs, has tons of plugins, belly bulges, throat bulges, all can be adjusted to reflect size of the penis (it's still not automatic but at least you have the option), it has procedural animations or keyframed animations, has proper physics with collisions.
If WildLife manages to combine what it has with what VAM can do and also make it dynamic like in some modelling agency (but wthout the buggy physics, broken interactions, pain bullshit) or what XStoryPlayer did (I say did since the game seems to be abandoned now) it would be a good sandbox.
this game has come very far from the last time i played it. my only gripe is that the map is completely empty, the build i played long ago had a seaside village full of people, and i could go fuck in the sea. in this map, the village is still there, but its empty, and the sea (and almost all bodies of water) are solid, meaning no more underwater fucking. and i was sad.
I don't know if you're being sarcastic with the underwater fucking, this is still a WIP you know
If you need just 2 groups of events happening on the hotkey press then you can use toggle prop.

Better to suck it up about internet speed. If you will reach maximum gb download limit, get 2 VPN and switch them to individually once you reach download limit. I've managed to download latest update in 20-30 minutes.
On key repeat does work for me. Maybe you forgot to unposses your cam from the first key press, you can't possess two at the same time. Or maybe you have consume input active.
You always need to deactivate any overlapping stuff that could cause conflicts when executing some new stuff.
Because it only shows events that you've already created. You saw so much in the event demo because there's tons of events.
Your new sandbox level is empty so there's no event to show.
Sorry, but I don't do request. I just share what I did. Nier Automata characters models are quite easy to find online.
Edit: Just a personal opinion, but at the moment, long hair, or hair with strands or pony tails, wouldn't look so good. Since we don't have a system to interact with bones from rigged models, we can't manipulate them as much yet. So long hair, like Yorha Commander's would definitely clip with other things when moving around.

two ways I can think of
1. position the characters in front of a wall , give it some spacing between them, then put in some lights behind the actors, try out a flood light or spot light, play around with the light settings to force a shadow onto the wall behind the characters.
2. throw in a wall, and set it's self illumination to super bright and whatever colour, then place the actors in front of it, put no lights on them, kinda works like a silhouette
two ways to attack objects to character,
first is the Player character that you run around as, you have to use the player follower tool on the object you want to follow the player.
second is for placed characters/sex scenes, where you can drag and drop an object under said character/sex scene group's hierarchy, then the object will have an extra selection where you can pick which "bone" to follow, for sex groups there is an index of 0 and 1 which will set which character of the sex scene.
