Hi everyone, I have a question : I turn 60 fps but my GPU is a little too hot so I limit my fps to 40.

Rn I'm on Direct X12. If I turn into Direct X11, will the quality will go down or only the performances ?

RAM is not VRAM

RAM is the thing next to your CPU
VRAM is the thing that's soldered onto your graphics card under the fans, next to the GPU core

you prolly have 32gb of actual ram for your system to use to run programs

your video card has 4gb vram for you system to hold textures and other video stuff

4gb vram is kinda low

I dont think its that low tbh. This game runs good and didnt had this problem in the past. Modern games runs decent too. Dont really know what sudden spike of vram requirement is all about, with only one one little issue like this behind. And guys, i already replied to simular answer, but thanks anyway. Here:

Is the sex "minigame" always the same? Spanking into doggystyle into BJ etc.? Those are some of the best NSFW animations I've seen in a game. I would wish for more little sequences like that, more dialogue choices.

If there's only the one "minigame", that's really barebone after some many years....

EDIT : I know there are more animations that can be selected in menus, but I'm talking about dialogue leading to position A, B, C

got it working in vr again just like it used to.

create a shortcut for wildlife with -nohmd attached to the end of the path (and -DX11 optionally)
find the instances of nvngx_dlssg.dll present in wild life's folders and delete them (I found two)
download and run UEVR on it
settings might take some fiddling

I have the same issue yeah, haven't found a fix yet. Squirting works and is visible, just not cumshots.

Yeah, has this problem too. As dev replied, vram requirement was not met;
"Yes, there is an issue where many textures get unloaded or fully mipped-down if the vram usage reaches capacity limit. This happens on around 8gb so any card below that will face this issue a lot more, 8gb is on the verge and will also have this issue on bigger scenes, cards with 12gb and more should be more on the safe side.
Its a complex issue but it is very much on our radar and we are attempting fixes and working on vram use improvements regularly."

I don't have a screenshot, but I have gotten the same issue. When a cumshot occurs and lands on a character, it doesn't leave anything on the character, for example a cumshot on someone's face does not show cum on their face.

Lack of proper LODs and LOD distances and overall not giving the slightest fuck about optimisation in general.
That's either because WL is in development and in that case it's normal, or because modern devs don't give a shit. We will only ever find out if WL ever gets released in a state where you can play it on hardware that is warranted by the graphics that it has. The graphics are good but not > 8GB VRAM good.

Youre not wrong. We havent made a serious optimization pass in a while and its very much on our radar and something we plan to put in a lot of effort when the time is right.
Basically we do give a lot of shit about optimization but the game is still in development and we are worrying about one thing at a time basically because we dont have a huge dev team.
But we will do our best to optimize the game properly before we go for the final release.

Depends on your graphics card

1. Create a shortcut of the WildLifeC.exe
2. Right click the shortcut and select "properties"
3. Add -dx11 onto the end of the target. Should look something like this: "C:\Games\WildLife\WildLifeC.exe" -dx11
4. Play the game through the shortcut
