Nah it's because the strict seperation between violence and sex I'd wager which is also something patreon can be butthurt about. The feral Kerpali are just a reskinned version of the cat kerpali dude anyway and I expect their skin to be available for the regular ones, too.

I'd guess it's because the devs are actually investing the money into what they do rather than pocketing it. They're essentially the only devs I know of that operate like a real game developer. I know that I'm personally not willing to donate to someone that works alone and is already earning 30k+ a month, but I am willing to donate to a startup that's hiring people, expanding and has a vision beyond a single product. Donating will actually affect the end products if they can hire another artist or whatever, upgrade their office etc. Same can not be said for someone doing a VN from home with bought assets. I see it as investing into the adult gaming market and its future rather than donating money to some person already earning a lot of money.

and before someone goes "hurr durr they haven't done anything in years, where's my complete AAA title with flawless combat, rich story and cutting edge feateures", if you look at their development documentation over on youtube you'd see that they do everything from scratch. Every scene, model etc is hand crafted and that takes time and effort. Their team isn't exactly huge so things take time, temper your expectations, be patient. They're not EA with a hundreds of employees.

i think you're totally wrong: i've followed this project from its beginning and i can tell you that this dev is milking its patreon community with not even a demo tech grabbing around 100k $ at mont... i found that fact pretty ridicolous: there is nothing to do in that demo (tech) apart from engage npcs in sex scenes or fly over here and there, no foes to fight apart from 3 or 4 jenas with absolutedly zero ai, no story at all but the hilarious part is that his dev voluntarily patch/update this demo once in blue moon and adding so few stuff in it every time that you'll almost find no difference from the scratch "release" to the latest one. ok, this game have potential in its concept and coul open a new serie of games but... 1) its not even a game's demo with absolute zero gameplay; 2) with an incame of 100k $ at mount do you think they will really rush the project to its end? 3) do you really think they are investing the money they grab in the game??!! just download the first release, try it, then download the latest one and see if you can find some difference between them apart from simple unsignificant datails... the grotesque part is that its patreon fanbase is rising instead of the countrary!

Mate, I'm trying to wank to this... the fuck do I want combat for? I'm consistently confused by people who want *gameplay* in their porn. Like... my guy, how many hands do you have free? There's a reason this does well financially, and it *ain't* the narrative or gameplay experience. It's the hot af animations and characters. that's *it*.
