Let's see if someone can answer this for me. There are scenes that you can select in this game and then modify to an extent. I am wondering if anyone has tried creating a scene from scratch in this game? How long does that take and how detailed is it? Just curious because I have only recently started playing the game and will not waste to much time on trying to create a scene that way if it takes likes 8hrs+, but if only an hour I might give it a shot. So far I have created new character poses but I am uncertain how to get movement from say the hips and then link that movement with the other characters hips, body, etc. Anyone have any experience with this?

it's not like we lost the ability to do mods though
anyone can learn and made clothing mods as well as skin mods as far as I'm aware

It all comes down to your own skill level and complexity of the scene you want to make
getting familair with the tools might take a little bit but it's pretty easy to understand.
drop in a posed character
then you can either add a custom bone control to the posed character, or a bone offset to the character.
drop in an animation sequencer tool
then in that sequencer add in the bones you want to animate as well as translation/rotation values then get to keyframing.
This is a little animation loop WIP I started working on, took me less than an hour

Click it, it'll open a new browser tab full of text, Right click that and Save as. It will save the .torrent file, which you can use with your torrent client of choice.

This is sorely needed, without such a thing there is no context to anything and that is the most important thing with a sex game imo, even with modded maps, skins, characters etc it's all meaningless without a plot and story. Obviously there is the vanilla story which is still quite incomplete and honestly what is there is at least imo not very promising, doesn't seem to be the devs strong suit (again just my opinion, I am sure others feel differently)

Off and on, kinda. AdeptusSteve (the lead dev) has said they're not focusing on VR right now and so if you can make it work, great, but if not, there's no support being offered as of yet. Their focus is on building the world first, and the VR is only there because Unreal Engine inherently includes VR compatibility as a feature. If you do get it working you'll find that menus can't be properly navigated because they only appear in one eye and way too close; this is not a bug per se, it's just not implemented in VR yet. You can sometimes do a combination of getting scenes prepared in the normal desktop environment, start the scene, put on your HMD, and press the VR shortcut to engage it, but it's awkward to say the least. Still, fun seeing the action up close when it works.
I've gotten it to work sometimes and other times it instantly crashes the game.
UEVR shits all over whatever the hell the vr implementation the game comes with is also because the hud actually works with that. I usually rip the one out of the game and replace it with that.
Is there a decent guide/writeup how to make your own animations/poses? The ingame tutorial is not bad but I don't even know where to start.
I honestly mainly want to fix all the clipping when you adjust body sizes..

Gonna chime in to add that it is quite a chore to setup animations. Some sort of plugins or quality of life mods would be nice. Like auto thrusters where the penis would stick inside the hips of the partner, etc etc.

whether your working on a pose or a sex-scene and want to make a quick fix
click the character you want to adjust
scroll down to "Bone Controls"
click on "Add offset" and select the bone you want to adjust
now you can apply an offset value to the position/rotation X/Y/Z
if you don't want the child bones being manipulated then unselect the "include child bones"
sometimes you have to toggle it on and off again as it can be finnicky
this will retain any and all motion to the bone while applying your offsset fix for any clipping.
It is wild that a game running on unreal 4/5 doesn't have basic ik targets huh. That is very wild.
