the complete game with all quests and gameplay added will take atleast 2 years to complete. i got this from an answer they gave to a question on their patreon,
right now their focus seems to be mostly in updating the adult content,cosmetics and area,s in the game so i guess those will be completed before they begin with adding Story and quests. which is not strange considering 90% of their patrons and people playing this game do it for the adult content and characters. so maybe a solid year from now we could be looking at a mostly completed and polished adult experience. with quests and story coming later mixed in with the occasional added character or adult scenes to keep it interesting for the core playerbase.

The latest version has no VR support anymore. Usually it was Alt+0, but you can change it in the hotkey settings.

Is there a way to change facial expressions (i.e ahegao during doggystyle), and/or pose other characters during sex (i.e have a character masturbate while watching the others have sex)?

TBH, I don't think this game "has come along", if this exists since 2016. This is THE MOST selling "game" on patreon, the guy(s) get €86K (!!) per month according to Patreon. Yet, this is still a demo. Yes, it's impressive in terms of animations, graphics etc...but nothing what someone experienced with Unreal couldn't do in a reasonable amount of time.
It's not supposed to. The concept of Patreon funded project is to keep development running as long as practical so subscribers keep paying.
Wild Life developers can't be blamed for doing just that because Wild Life is not a game, it's a sex animation viewer. They can keep adding characters and sex animations for eternity and they are doing exactly what subscribers are paying for.

This would make sense if every single project on Patreon is still WIP. While a lot of stuff gets abandoned or stuck in dev limbo other people finish their stuff.
Except the devs want to actually develop it into a game in the long run. Right now i agree it is just a very good animation viewer with limited character customizations.
the sex part of the game is supposed to lure people in and create funding to later add fleshed out story/quests. a very smart strategy with the only downside being that if the sexual content stops coming,so does the money to keep funding the game. i don,t see them running out of sex animations soon tho with so many different characters, fantasy is the limit here.
obviously it is the latest build...
it says on the first page the release is march 19 2020 the same date as the one you listed
