I can run Elden Ring on this thing lol. There's no excuse for any game with this amount of money coming in to be almost unplayable even in an empty room on a slightly-above-middle-of-the-road GPU. Other games have handled UE5 fine yet this one with hundreds of thousands of dollars coming in and a huge team is so poorly optimized it can't do an empty room? It's fine for a game to have demanding requirements if there's a good reason. This is just poor optimization and nobody should be making excuses for the devs.

EDIT: Not to mention that this game used to run on INTEGRATED FUCKING GRAPHICS a few years ago and fast forward a bit, what do we have? A game that can't even come close to running on medium-end GPUs, has less actual game content, and doesn't even look much better. That people financially support this is insane. This is one of the worst games on the site, and probably the most obvious patreon scam. How it's so highly reviewed and people come out to defend it, I will never understand.

You're not wrong but I was just pointing out that your hardware is probably the main issue. Yes, the game is HIGHLY unoptimized right now but just to give you a bit of perspective, there are those who are able to run the game pretty well. These are the types of people that usually don't have a problem funding games like this and others such as Star Citizen which also requires some very beefy hardware to run well. This is one of those games that don't scale well for everyone and that's made painfully obvious for many and more than likely the majority of users considering that most people are not going to have very beefy hardware, unfortunately.

The funny thing Is that today you can buy a 6650xt for less than 300€ on a desktop buy people still pretend to waste Money on mobile gpu...

It took me around 60 seconds to find a video of rtx 3050 running even an unoptimized as fuck game like cyberpunk 2077 at 1080p, 60fps using "high" settings.
Getting 40fps on a blank map has nothing to do with "mobile gpu" performance.

Yeah, op should have bought an rtx 4090 just to play wild life's empty sandbox world at 60fps. Clearly it is his (hardware)problem.
I'd have never imagined someone would actually try to justify getting 40fps on a blank/empty screen. I hope you weren't thinking with your brain while writing this...

Right now? The game has been unoptimized for as long as I can remember, well before the big engine rework.

The game has a patreon logo and a link. I was able to find a program that unpacks the game's resources. There are two problems. Finding these files and packing them back up. I found some files. But I could not pack them back up.

Scotty911 Cant just lift Lara Croft and slap it in this one. You can import DAZ models into WilLife and use them in the editor as an asset. Should be quite some posts on this game's forum section. I suggest the search function.

You can import models as long as they're in the supported formats, but things like clothing won't actually fit characters. I've seen it requested in the Wild Life server, but a tool like Bodyslide from Skyrim/Fallout would be neat for sandbox. You can also import models of characters, but they won't be playable or usable.
