Why would you be glad about that?Glad to see their kickstarter doing really poorly atm

They might have hoped for a "fully funded in 10 minutes" scenario with the amount crossing into million dollar heights, as it has happened before on Kickstarter. The current result should get their heads back out of the clouds though. The kickstarter goal just seems like such an insignificant amount of money compared to what they're already making. What could a one time payment of 250k do that 100k per month can't? It's not like it will allow them to expand their team and speed up development. Those 250k will run out pretty quickly, considering how long they've been at it already.
The reason to pledge to them now is still the same reason you'd pledge to them four years ago, because the game is still just a glorified scene viewer.
In term of communication it could be a terrible hit or miss too (and more like a miss probably)They might have hoped for a "fully funded in 10 minutes" scenario with the amount crossing into million dollar heights, as it has happened before on Kickstarter. Maybe you should read like 2 posts back before breaking crazy news just like that. What the actual fuck! You must be registered to see the linksthose greedy cunts xD boycott this trash
Problem is that starting a kickstarter while you have a very succesfull Patreon can be poorly received quite easily. The kickstarter, like people have been saying, is a publicity stunt, a gamble for that rare million dollar pay check, or the extremely unlikely chance that they also want to have an alternative way to buy and support the game. I dislike Patreon for many reasons and alternatives are fantastic. That said, a steam early access (they already have the demo on there so why not the option to buy for EA?), GOG, Itch.io or any other platform would be better for that purpose. I like having multiple options to support the game but this is just a bit sketchy.
There are two main characters Max and MayaYou can like choose character? there was trailer with 3 chars... or you are stuck with 1 protagonist?
how do you get this skin color and hair i can only change outfit for mayaI love this new Maya.

I have been (and still am) in alpha and beta tests before, and disagree with that, it doesn't run fine for the amount of dev time and team size it has. The trailer was made by an employee so was a soft cost anyways.I can definitely tell that lots of commenters here have never been part of a games' technical alpha before.
For the development state it's in, this runs fine.
Besides that, making that shiny trailer alone must have cost a pretty penny.

They specifically mentioned Studio FOW and Subverse in their QnA, and yes they do think they're on the same level and expect the same result. I'd give a time stamp but can't be assed watching it again, its on the picardo site anyways.I'm thinking of Subverse that worked pretty well that way, however I would say that at the time Studio Fow was already way more popular than Candy Valley Network and popularity is a snowball effect.
Steam Early Access etc are one off payments, then are supposed to provide a product. Patreon they can just milk the same supporters monthly.many reasons and alternatives are fantastic. Thats normal for this game really. AMD GPU, nVidia in SLI, insufficient system ram, UE4 reqs not meet etc. Basically, does other UE4 based game run? If yes, then you got roughly 50% of this one running. You can also grab the demo from steam and try it from there to see if it loads.game wont start, hangs and then just quits (task manager) I have windows 10, are the torrent files bugged?
this game worked on my old pc, and windows 7. right now I got a new pc that can run 4k games and windows 10, I see no reason this game simply won't load, no error or anything.Thats normal for this game really.
