Sounds far too long, but that's about 75 frames rendered per hour. I'd say that seems legit."Roughly, 652 hours of render time". I'm not an artist, but someone please tell me that he doesn't mean over 27 fucking days to render an unwanted and unnecessary alt scene. That can't be correct.
More like 270 days using WMT (Wildeer Mean Time)"Roughly, 652 hours of render time". I'm not an artist, but someone please tell me that he doesn't mean over 27 fucking days to render an unwanted and unnecessary alt scene. That can't be correct.
Totally agree. High quality as usual, yes absolutely, but far too long...IMHO episode 3 is the best. The bloat in this episode(gatekeeper 4) was insane. You can skip up to 2 minutes forward in most of the episode and still be on the same animation maybe a different angle if you are lucky. You could cut this down to 10 minutes and get the same experience.
Really sad that people praise this for being "long" considering how little of actual content there is for the time its been in the making.
Depends if he renders it with a 3600x or a 9950x or a threadripper/epic with ~100 cores."Roughly, 652 hours of render time". I'm not an artist, but someone please tell me that he doesn't mean over 27 fucking days to render an unwanted and unnecessary alt scene. That can't be correct.
I like this dude's content. That being said, most criticism towards him are valid. The "hater" bs is on Jake Paul fanboy levels of stupid. Stop it.The GOAT finally delivering. Best Lara Croft render.
(suck on my favorable comment haters)
wildeer animations are top notch, noone is arguing about that... but...I like this dude's content. That being said, most criticism towards him are valid. The "hater" bs is on Jake Paul fanboy levels of stupid. Stop it.
Use MPC-HC player. Lots of features, easier to use, faster. And it runs basically everything.does anyone elses media player hate this video? Normally can run 4k no problem in VLC, every uploaded version of this video playback will freeze a few seconds in.
does such a fork exist of mpc-hc where you can cut parts out without re encoding?Use MPC-HC player. Lots of features, easier to use, faster. And it runs basically everything.
I think VLC can do thatdoes such a fork exist of mpc-hc where you can cut parts out without re encoding?

I agree , the plot went the wrong way . It would be possible to introduce her with two...Three..maybe with four aborigines .What a plot that would be !! But who are we to dig into the brains of an artist ?I learned that if you watch wildeer animations at 2.0 speed you have a way better experience, gatekeeeper P4 is a great example, so much waste of time
