I'd say its not men under fire. A lot of the things like collective shout are ultra-fundamentalist TERFs diguised as feminism in their belief so anti-period, anti-lgbtq+. I wouldn't put it past them to try and push for banning anything with trans representation or just lgbt representation in general.
This, seeing some of the other stories, its not targeting men, but seems to be more about the portrayal of certain groups, particularly women. Started off with trying to blacklist stuff like adult games that included themes of rape, ect. But are now trying to target more broad subjects, which has seen alot of lgbtq+ content hit because people try to claim anything related to that is nsfw.

The same group has also tried to target games like GTA5, because you have the ability to attack and kill women, pretty much complaining about anything where women can be interacted with in a 'negative' way.
Funny thing is, I imagine this will play into the hands of the 'chuds' who are constantly complaining about female characters almost every time they are little more than window dressing.

I have found it so far in , a radfem sub.
speaking of reddit, like in the civitai thread. the Online Safety Act (UK) has blocked all adult sub-reddits. Plus websites like e-hentai, rule34, pornhub etc which now require age verfication checks (asking for I.D.). Some sites like e-hentai can't even ask for those checks from people anyway so perma-banned. . . using VPN on those sites is not a good idea either because they see it as circumventing the bandwidth limits.

Maybe they timed rolling out the Online Safety Act so it's using this news as cover. Distracted by this so they can roll out the censorship with little attention.

Yeah. I can absolutely empathise with (for instance) Collective Shout's broad goal - that of reducing the sexualisation/objectification/exploitation of women - but what I don't agree with is how they go about it sometimes. But I also think that ties into broader narratives such as porn/prostitution legislation (I'm not suggesting they're the same thing).

The main issue I see is that it's an incredibly polarising conversation, particularly on a site like this one and so it's really hard to have a decent conversation about because people inevitably feel (not necessarily incorrectly) as though they're being attacked.

No.
Because what can they do?
Ask Mastercard & Visa to stop doing bussiness with F95zone? It runs entierly on crypto, so nope, won't happen.
Pressure the f95 registrar and/or their host to close the site's accounts.
You're always going to be dependent on someone else's infrastructure on the modern web and that means pressure points.

Not entirely true. Aside from the fact that the radical feminist movement includes a lot of lesbians, TERFs are largely pro-LGBT+, but they do not recognize transsexuals as women. This is a direct result of the fact that the foundation of their movement is hatred/resentment towards men.

You know I thought you might be Genuine. But now I think you are one of the cunts mentioned. Tonga literally does not give a shit about you Karens. It has not for years, maybe even decades.
Why you so mad that you had to spam me multiple times in the span of a minute for the same comment?
Someone asked how activist groups might try to take F95 offline and I answered. Tongo's TLD is managed by Tonic Corp who are based out of San Francisco. If you think they are at all immune from influence by Western pressure campaigns or from payment processors then I have a bridge to sell you.

it already censored
exact reason why "other site" still exists despite being complete garbage - to host games what 95 censored out using arbitrary rules

Just when AI was starting to make better art with the right number of fingers in porn, it all comes crashing down. We may never see that perfect AI CG NTR phone game now. Gone like crazy feminists blocking payment providers in the night.

Imagine if this reaches Patreon too. I think everyone will quit making adult games. F95 might not suffer directly but indirectly for sure. This is a major blow in all levels.

All this shit makes me sick. I won't even be able to masturbate if the millionaire or politician doesn't want me to. Every day we get closer and closer to the scene in The Matrix where machines get energy from giant towers full of humans.

What's next? A chip in my ass so they can control how much and when I can shit? This world is nonsense, every day it's more disgusting to live in.

Patreon already bans the games that itch and steam are removing now. Have since 2017-2018. They have been the ones most adamant about enforcing their rules. If you see one on Patreon, it's because they haven't been reported yet or haven't had a spot review yet.

People keep making adult games and going on Patreon for funding platform. Over 9000 of them. And growing.

Itch has had these rules for just as long as patreon, but hadn't enforced them and many devs wanting to earn money but fly under the radar knew that. Steam fucked up when they started selling adult games by not including the same rules they were required to follow for payment processors.

Subscribestar also has the same/similar rules but doesn't enforce them as strongly... Yet.

I see. That makes sense.

But itch I doubt they will re-instate the games as they mentiont it. I mean they don't have the manpower to check every game and decide. They take like 1 month for a single support ticket let alone checking a bazillion of games.

What do you mean reinstate? If a game violates, it gets removed. No reinstatement.

All the games that don't violate are still there or haven't been reviewed yet, they have only been deindexed. You can go to their pages directly. Or use Google to find their pages.

When games have passed review, they get reindexed.

Yes, itch is understaffed. That is one reason why they haven't enforced their rules as strictly...not enough people.

And then there are some of us who posted a game on itch like a day or two before the deindexing happened, so the most crucial time in a game's lifespan got absolutely fucked.

People shouldn't be mad at itch, they're being forced to do it. It's the payment processors that need to fuck off.

from what my sources tell me, itch is fighting for its life right now with the payment processors. there is a risk itch may not come back from this.

steam is also currently getting lots of heat from the payment processors for not doing enough to remove offending games. steam is too big to fall because of this, but who knows what will happen to their adult games

this battle is very much going on behind the scenes right now
