I doubt this is the premium version. They're still throwing out all kinds of test builds. One release will have a certain scene, the next one won't, then it may be back again in another release. The current release on here is not as far along as it was over a year ago. Maybe the next one will move the story along. But as you can read page after page in this thread, they keep throwing stuff against the wall to see what will stick. It makes for a messy wall.No I wanted the premium Dark don't tell me this version is the premium dark on here
Im sorry... I dont understand what you mean... Everybody was playing the non playable TEST version. What version did you buy???? 50 bucks?????No I wanted the premium Dark don't tell me this version is the premium dark on here

but nothing happens...
... Wasn't Hi-Fi Rush built on Godot? Why make a game on this wretched engine... There are normal analogues? In general, the picture is not "wow", but not bad, I don't like sandbox, but here it didn't seem too boring to me. I won't play because of the game engine, it's not convenient (or I'm not used to it), it's somehow wooden. It's better to transfer it to Ren'py, or at least RPGM/Unity.
The problem isn't the choice of Godot, it's the reasons which motivated that choice.... Wasn't Hi-Fi Rush built on Godot?
And isn't Godot just Unity with less corporate control?
As has been discussed dozens of times in this thread, Godot is not the problem. Godot has thousands of games on it and is rated higher than Ren'Py by every gaming site that I've seen. Any engine will result in crappy performance if one doesn't know how to program in it.Why make a game on this wretched engine... There are normal analogues? You're right. Why did I think Hi-Fi Rush?!
heh...no worries. My "no" was actually aimed at the second part of your statement. Unity has a much steeper learning curve and more robust graphics engine. You're right. Why did I think Hi-Fi Rush?!
Excuse me from the conversation please, I am dumb.
"Hi-Fi Rush"? I didn't know about this game until you mentioned it. I'll be honest, I'm not thrilled with Unity either. I hardly ever play games on this engine. Ren'Py is the ideal option for me. If I were to develop a game, I'd choose it without a doubt. But everyone has their own preferences.... Wasn't Hi-Fi Rush built on Godot?

I speak for myself, maybe I'm just not used to it, I very rarely play games on it. And it's strange that it's more popular than Renpy, I thought the opposite, at least on this resource Renpy is very popular. As has been discussed dozens of times in this thread, Godot is not the problem. Yes, here in AVN land, Ren'Py is king. It's simple, easy to learn and easy for the player to manipulate. I love it. But in the gaming universe Godot is used far more as Ren'Py doesn't really have a graphics engine, etc."Hi-Fi Rush"? I didn't know about this game until you mentioned it. And alluding to what Pr0GamerJohnny mentioned in his comment...One of the reasons, and likely the main reason, the dev team switched to Godot is to lock things down so that we can't play around with the code. You will learn that the more you pay on Patreon, the more is unlocked in the game. Not only more content, but the grind is not as bad as one can make more money and travel from point a to point b faster the higher the tier on Patreon. I think it's a self-defeating strategy, but it is what it is.
