But why almost zero communication?
There's been a huge status update almost every other month giving info on what's been going on, just that it's not getting uploaded here.
Also they are pretty active in their discord responding to all bugs and stuff for the test build.

Unless you're looking at something private facing, I see 2 updates here from february in the "updates" channel :cautious:

Yeah i'm talking about patreon posts specifically. As you can see below these posts are massive.

You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.
Indeed, that's a hefty post full of information, thank you for relaying that. I'm a little confused though - as while those things described sound like very useful and functional changes; most of that stuff would fall under "Quality of Life" tweaks/updates, or if not that; more secondary and tertiary ideas for gameplay (things like fishing/gardening or repeatable dates).

Maybe I'm being too critical now.... i'd just imagine if you asked the average poster here (or one of their patrons) what they'd want to see next -they're probably simply say "fix the gamebreaking bugs/auto triggering activities by day or work" then past that "I want to see more on Mina's story" (or Melissa or daughters or whatever) - more primary writing.

I'd just hate to see them run out of steam while producing these kinds of "secondary content", of which, judging by the update notes you posted, is significant.

Actually they have expanded quite a bit of content from before and whatever comes in chapter 1 and most likely worked towards finishing V2.0, just that they haven't added alot of it in testbuilds.
All of this is based on what i see in the patreon specific discord channels where currently only platinum subs have a test build given to them which is very very buggy so they are constantly getting feedback and fixing all of that too.
From what i can gather they intend to slowly iron out their current platinum tier test builds and work their way towards other tier builds adding in all of the content bit by bit for a proper V2.0 release.

Not surprised it's buggy, the game's about to have more features than some full fledged RPG's. It's an interesting choice from them to go this path. Certainly ambitious and if they succeed it can still be one of the greats. Just gotta hope this isn't too much for a small team on an unfamiliar engine.

I'm not talking about this game in particular, it's a new game. But strong games that have gained a big following started to be released very late. The monthly subscription system should change, as long as they continue to receive their monthly payments, they start to act very comfortably. Games published monthly started to spread over a period of 2-3 months.
