Not really. Devs said that Patreon's new rules require that all scenes be done "only when characters are of sound mind and by mutual consent". And about 90% of the current game is corruption and seduction by not entirely honest methods.

Exactly this. Their output has been so poor that any hype they built for this project has boiled down to a patreon funded apology/excuse generator. They've treated their patreons with nothing but contempt for a while now. Suffice to say, somewhere along the way, a key member of the dev team must've pulled the pin and they've struggled ever since.

Welcome. We're a very sceptical, cynical bunch here. This is mostly due to irregular updates, and lack thereof. You are correct that it has nearly been a whole year since the last update, and due to a change in Patreon policy, the developers are currently seeking a new home elsewhere among Suscribestar adult and itch.io. A new home however, is unlikely to make any difference to their terrible release schedule.
