OOOOR...how about a crazy villain who's evil and sinister but at the same kind of a goofball who wins over the ladies by being a lovable badboy?
Like Jack Spicer from Xiaolin showdown?
I mean, if the direction it is going with trying to make him more sympathetic, gonna be real hard after all the blackmail and shit.
Unless it's trying to go for a redemption llike story?
If so, then some consequences gonna have to happen in order to be believable.
The problem here is that it is inconsistent with the other girls... Sympathetic for Elyon, and asshole for the others.
Asshole we can use as a power fantasy.
Sympathetic we can actually root for, hoping for either redemption, or that he ends up taking over the evil side with the willing help of his conquests, maybe both and he becomes the "better evil". Maybe even both sides were bad all along, but the good guys kept it hidden better, and he ends up becoming the balanced, corrupt but good at managing everything so the people don't have any real complaints.
What we have here... is neither.
Be unrepentant evil, be sympathetic, be trying to be evil but mess up things, but be consistent.
Or at least show us how he changes. Be consistent in the changes.
The only q is>has the dev never played any VN before?Didnt he saw how are they done? The way current project is moving seems weird,at least.Kattlarv mentioned most of the obvious holes, thing is the game didnt 'played' in a proper way,the stories seemed more or less unrelated, maybe its a good thing I wont be able to play it from now on,the 18+ cg kept us gamed until now anyway.
Maybe dev cant make game in a proper way,its 1 thing being a limited team and other story with a professional company with more ppl&talent.
Yeah, it seems to me he had good art, but not so good at actual writing. Unfortunatly the second part is kinda important in a visual
novel.
Even Rogue-like Evolution is better at it. At least it has good sex descriptions, and all it has are the mechanics and art - actual story was said long ago that it will be added in the future, but I'm not holding my breath.
