I can understand it, I think I have the same thing, but with Alchemy's character it might be a different story. She was never technically Cedrick's girl, and there were only a few lines between them throughout the entire game. Essentially, Alchemy's entire story is that of a girl who was in the wrong place at the wrong time. But did I develop a personal attachment to her during the game? No, I think not, and neither did Cedrick. I mean, she always felt like she was not even a supporting character, but a background character. But maybe it was different for others.
Um... no, I don't think so. They just decided to make Cedric a "good guy"... Rethinking and all that stuff. So no, it's more like they're making him fit in with the girls than the other way around. If I'm not mistaken, this happened after a conflict in the development team and the appearance of new faces.

The game was probably inspired by the "witch trainer" or other akabur games, where you basically train a girl to be a slut. But it seems authors of this one realized that they dont actually want that, because its unnecessary mean or whatever, so they made an entire slave route, and in the end decided to pivot it in opposite direction. And since the game was in developement since forever, its completely possible that this is the only route we will ever get. Slave route turned into "a bit mean" and "a bit less mean" routes.
Well, I don't know what they were inspired by. But most likely by the original cartoon initially and its popularity. And as I already wrote, there was some kind of conflict among the developers (the essence of the conflict was not disclosed), and after it, some of the developers left the project and other people took their place (well, if this information is true, but judging by the changed drawing, at least the artist changed). And after that, this game changed its direction. So everything is much simpler here... another scriptwriter - another script...
