interesting start so far. that scene where the guys tries to escape reminds me a bit of The Running Man where prisoners can try to escape if they want their heads to get blown off..suicide runs. but they know about it while that guys doesn't. looking forward to the next update.

I don't need media to tell me that. I just need to take a glance at human history to know that. Death, angst, adversity, betrayal, conflict etc are all basic ingredients for drama. Drama is the basis of storytelling since Homer was pumping out best sellers a few thousand years ago. I'm not going to play internet psychologist and try to elaborate on why we (as in humans) like that shit in this slightly off-topic post. But denying that fact is ignoring the entire history of storytelling.

OK, I agree with most of that, but what does that have to do with what I said? I wasn't even replying to you; I was just denying the statement that the most popular porn involves rape. That's a lie used by certain media and certain politicians across the world. It's not even among the most popular genres, not even close.

The previous post you replied to was referring to death and violence present in this game.

As for rape being popular, I don't know about porn but it's well documented it's a very popular sexual fantasy, especially among women. I don't get it but it is what it is.

Sex scenes will be weird as fuck with that model, and probably skipped for me.

Seems like it'll have murder and shit though so might just have to play it for the story. I really enjoyed Going Rogue albeit briefly and this does have some potential.
