The author confused something with the fact that season 1 ends with chapter 4 and season 2 begins with chapter 6.

Yes, definitely some confusion, lol.
Season 1 ends with Chapter 5 (not 4), according to the OP change log.
And the change log shows Chapter 6 as the start of S2, but I somehow managed to delete my downloaded copy (although I did make a WT for Ch6 which is still in my Mega account).
The OP has one link to S1 Ch 5 but it's not labeled AS chapter 5 for some reason. It's the 2K QHD links entry, here:

Hi everyone,
I’m deep into the development of Chapter 10, and I want to share a bit about the themes and flow you can expect in this coming update.
If Chapter 9 was about immediate physical threats, Chapter 10 is heavily focused on **consequences** and **unraveling secrets**. You’ll find moments of refuge—specifically with Eva, where we finally peel back the layers of her past. It’s a chance to breathe and connect, but in the Boiler, safety is always an illusion.
Because this chapter is incredibly dynamic and the plot moves at a breakneck pace—with Kate’s revenge spiraling out of control and Barbara in the crossfire—there simply wasn't a logical moment for the characters to stop and relax. As a result, Chapter 10 will feature only one 18+ scene.
However, it is a very special one. It takes place with Eva, and it’s deeply emotional and passionate, serving as a major payoff for those following her romance path.
I also want to prepare you for the ending of this chapter. We are approaching one of the most dramatic and pivotal moments in the entire story so far. The stakes have never been higher, and the events at the end of Chapter 10 will leave you on the edge of your seat. I’m currently finalizing the scripts for these confrontations. Expect emotional weight, difficult de-escalations, and a shift in the power dynamics of the group.

Hi everyone,
A huge thank you to everyone who participated in the recent polls for Chapter 9! Your feedback is incredibly valuable, and it was fascinating to see the results. Let's dive in.
First up, the question of trust in our favorite broker, Melinda. The results were:
- *52% are unsure*
- *31% trust her*
- *17% don't trust her at all*
It seems the "unsure" camp is the largest, but a solid third of you are on her side. And for the 31% who trust her... I did see a couple of comments that suggest some of you are thinking with... well, let's just say not your strategic mind. I won't blame you, though—she's a magnetic character, for sure. I won't comment too much more on this, as we have some major reveals coming up and I don't want to spoil anything for you!
Now for the big one: which scenes you liked and disliked.
On the *"Disliked Scenes"* poll, I was thrilled to see that the top answer (41%) was that you liked all the scenes! Thank you so much for that. Unsurprisingly, Luna’s intimate scene was the most polarizing, gathering 29% of the 'disliked' votes. I'm aware she's a character who splits opinions, so this wasn't a total shock.
What did surprise me, however, was that 12% of you disliked the interrogation scene with Melinda. I was a bit bummed to see that, as I personally love crafting these high-stakes dialogue challenges. I put a lot of effort into providing multiple choices so your actions have real consequences. I'd love to understand what didn't work for you. Was it too difficult to get the perfect outcome? Too few choices? Or do you generally prefer to watch the story unfold without complex decision-making? If you have any thoughts on this scene—good or bad—please share more details in the comments below!
On the flip side, the *"Best Moments"* poll had even more voters (since it was public), and the results were just as interesting!
To absolutely no one's surprise, Kate's scene took the top spot! At this point, I think we can all agree she’s the star of this show, haha.
But here’s the fascinating part: Luna’s scene came in a strong second! The very same scene that was the most disliked also ranked as the second most loved. It seems you either love her or you hate her—there’s no in-between with Luna.
The interrogation and the choice between Harper and Melinda were tied, each pulling in about 15% of the vote.
So, those are the results! It was genuinely insightful to go through them, and I'll definitely be running more polls like this in the future. If you have anything else to add, please drop a comment below. I read everything and try to respond to almost everyone (though please be patient, as there might be a slight delay while I'm buried in work on the next update for you all! ).
