The script is missing a couple of variations for if the MC is not staying with Luna and her lot (
The MC being railroaded into accepting Olivia's job without knowing what he's getting into or taking any elemental precautions is annoying, but par for the course by now. In a similar vein, the writing in the final choice being framed as him actually buying either Melinda or Harper's bullshit rather than just being up against it and making an unpleasant choice.
And in the latest installment of The MC Being Too Thick To Live, we have him not realizing what Kate is up to with the Christopher job despite their previous conversations on the subject.

I agree. Or at least have tags or a description that tells the player what kind of relationship paths will be available for the player to choose. Is this a single love interest story (romance), or a dating sim...where MC can get with more than one girl (seriously that info is missing from the tags)?
I've held off due to this unsure design, and the lack of relationship labels. I guess I'll wait until more of the story has been created, as well the rewrite of the disliked love interest has been sorted out.

I dont know if im just being dense here but where is chapter 5??? None of the downloads seem to have it? season 2 starts at 6 and the avalable so called delluxe first season ends at 4. There is no download with 5 in it from what I can see?
Edit: its in the season 1 2k download! so I got it but had to download another 10 gig lol. Might be something to look into?

Okay so the game derps out big time if you are both unfriendly with harper and hide the device from Melinda.

I really don't know what's wrong with this game...Started Ch2, (the save file from Ch1 loaded just fine, surprisingly, no error msg) but in the first 10 minutes they are already talking about big things I never did on Ch1 or even knew about them based on my choices. It's like playing a different game...Extremely annoying

So sad this game keeps going downhill. First the bullshit with Luna and horrible Harper who I don't even want to see anymore of then Eva constantly lying and then the only likeable girl Kate is also being turned into a shady character. Then this dumb useless update about playing a game with people I really dislike and only lie all the time. Plot is interesting but right now I just want to know how the story ends because the people there are horrible and make this game a slog.

Been too long since I played most of the earlier chapters, and I had forgotten about any clues as to what Kate was thinking about. I was thinking I probably made choices that prevented me from knowing. Still a real possibility with the way I've gone about things. Regardless, it will be interesting to see how the story unfolds.
Your second paragraph especially spoke to me. I don't trust either of them. In my playthrough, there's no reason for the MC to think Olivia knows anything. He has basically no relationship with her. Not a friend. Barely an acquaintance. As for Melinda, again it has been a while, but I don't recall him ever being at odds with her. Really just seemed like a professional relationship. She seemed to know more than anyone else who was willing to talk with him about what's going on, and she wasn't exactly forthcoming.
All in all, I'm just a passenger in this bumper car.

Hmm..i don't know why, but downloaded 2x both S1 2K QHD and S2 from Pixeldrain and in both cases files were corrupt, but when i downloaded from Gofile those were fine. This is not the only time from Pixeldrain either this happens. I'm starting to think Pixeldrain is either going downhill with their service or users who upload into their servers has hardware issues.
Edit: Yup 3 other games same thing. Could be also internet provider / middleman corrupting files before those are fully downloaded.

Choosing between Melinda and Harper is choosing between a snake who knows much more about MC’s abduction than she lets on, and a cold bitch who repeatedly told MC to F**k off and won’t tell him a thing about the device. Easy choice huh?

Or at minimum try to get something, anything of value in return, even if it's just a firm commitment of future assistance. Here you are holding something two power players want and you don't really have much use for, why not try to use that leverage to actually improve your situation?
Orrrrrr, I guess you could just flop around like a pool noodle for a bit before throwing away any advantage you might have had.
(In the end I went with Melinda: She's openly callous and self-serving and couldn't give two shits if the MC lives or dies, but at least she is so openly and doesn't pretend to be anything else.)
