As I play along, I keep getting pictures/portraits of what one would believe to be a girl, but the text implies that the person is a guy. For example, Fabian. The portrait for him looks very much like a girl. I also just had a conversation with two people in the common room about tryouts for Quidditch. The portrait for the "boy" is very much like a girl.

Also, there needs to be some kind of fast travel option to areas/rooms that you have already been too. I am growing tired and bored of having to run all over the place in between quests, especially when you have to go from the East building back to the West building back to the East building. Either setup the quests so they all happen in the same building or add a fast travel option to get from East to West and vice versa or to at least get to rooms you have already been too.

is there a way to load a save? i see an option for "load game" or "new game" at the start, and the game even highlights and lets me click on "load game" but then after that, it doesn't want to highlight any of the saves in the menu. i can highlight the back button and click on it, but not any of the saves.

I saw the same problem, but if you click on the one you want, it might take a minute or two, but it should load.

I don't see any weights next to the door of the Phys Ed room. Do you have to go there during the day? Because I went at night after doing the Ghoul quest for the abandoned corridor.

Far as I know it shouldnt matter. Look around the room, the weights should be there, its fairly obvious. If it isnt then maybe its been shifted in the new update.

In any case, if its not there during the night, you can easily just try during the day.

- changing name doesn't work, the name field appears but is out of focus so I can't type anything in there, it also stays on the screen permamently unless I reload
- when loading save from the menu the first save appears empty and all save slots are moved one position down, but it's only a visual issue, so the empty save slot is in reality 1st save slot, 1st save slot is really 2nd and so on.

Save slot has been fixed! But yeah, getting the name change bug and some other small ones tonight

That's simply an UI thing. It doesn't highlight the saves, but they will load when clicked

the game just refused to give me galleons for two quests the Emily one and the bath one.

You mean galleons as a reward from the 3 random rewards? Those at least appear to work on my end. If you mean as "static" quest rewards, some of those have been changed to accomodate the new reward system, and still display the wrong values in the quest texts. Going through them in this interim release coming

Yeah, it's still a school. Some of them look late-teens young, because they are. Fabian does look decidedly feminine, I agree, but that's intentional at least

Also, there are fast travel options! There is one that is revealed at the end of the Friday party, but which is technically always accessible if you find it before then, and then there are a couple of others that can be purchased in your Commonroom

Yup, top most download in the OP. You can check its name to see if it is a more recent build than yours

Sorry to be obnoxious but, the control mechanics were changed?? Is it easier to move around now?? The quest hints actually help you now or you need to guess everything still??

Great Hall door interaction is messed up. it tells me I can interact with it from like almost any angle within like 30% of the room. the "interact" window is huge but no amount of clicking from any angle would actually give me the pop up to actually enter the hall until i tried to crawl inside the statue on the right wall looking at the Hall door.

I also remain unable to name change at the wardrobe even after starting a new save. also typing anything with an i/I in the J command window or patreon window opens the inventory.

finally why can I turn off "sound" but still have ambient background noise and music? if I want sound off I want ALL of it off. please don't make me mute all system sounds so that my roomates don't have to hear me playing a fan made Harry Potter porn game. and before anyone says, "just use headphones" headphones are for morons who dont realise that if you wrap sound around your head while listening to porn you can't hear anyone speaking to you or entering your room. and at that point you might as well leave the sound on and the door open as a warning you might be jacking it. sound off should mean all. sound. off.

At the autumn ball, in the concord room, when you explain to the group of Slytherins how you are going to rip out their spine with a spell, and can gain up to 5 cruelty, if you stop before to calm things down, and gain less than 5 cruelty, then after snape's intervention, you apologize, you can end up with a negative cruelty value (-4, -2)...
