I found another bug:
At the autumn ball, in the concord room, when you explain to the group of Slytherins how you are going to rip out their spine with a spell, and can gain up to 5 cruelty, if you stop before to calm things down, and gain less than 5 cruelty, then after snape's intervention, you apologize, you can end up with a negative cruelty value (-4, -2)...

That is somewhat working as intended, even if it looks very clunky! There are choices that remove cruelty and can push you into the negatives (at which point it should probably be called something else)

Two questions: where can I find roots for blasting rods? The girl says something about right tower in eastern building, but I cant seem to find it. Where can I find binding rune?

Blasting rods haven't been implemented yet but will come now that the item system is ready. Just needs content for it

Great Hall door interaction is messed up. it tells me I can interact with it from like almost any angle within like 30% of the room. the "interact" window is huge but no amount of clicking from any angle would actually give me the pop up to actually enter the hall until i tried to crawl inside the statue on the right wall looking at the Hall door.

I also remain unable to name change at the wardrobe even after starting a new save. also typing anything with an i/I in the J command window or patreon window opens the inventory.

finally why can I turn off "sound" but still have ambient background noise and music? if I want sound off I want ALL of it off. please don't make me mute all system sounds so that my roomates don't have to hear me playing a fan made Harry Potter porn game. and before anyone says, "just use headphones" headphones are for morons who dont realise that if you wrap sound around your head while listening to porn you can't hear anyone speaking to you or entering your room. and at that point you might as well leave the sound on and the door open as a warning you might be jacking it. sound off should mean all. sound. off.

Yeah, fixing the door now. As mentioned earlier, I lost some settings when upgrading the project's Unity version and it fucked the interactions with colliders. Name change too is getting fixed. And yeah, good pointer on the sounds. I'll get a total mute in. For now, you can mute the game in your volume mixer in Windows, but I realise it isn't too handy

Menus are so tiny you can't read them and the game has a ridiculous amount of lag, making it unplayable. Not sure if it's some kind of settings glitch since I can't read the menus to look at the settings.

You have to wait for nighttime before you can grill

What's your resolution, and do you mean the main menu or the settings menu? They're using Unity's automatic scaler for screen-size which should work most of the time unless you are on a very unusual resolution

I don't see any way to progress to night, spoke to everyone and quest log still says "pass the time" and "optional: go grill"

You'll have to speak with May somewhere a little into the forest, and then speak with the roommates

depending of how far you are you may have to go down the little staircase and see a bath with ava in

Hey, yep, there is a problem with the colliders and interactions with them atm. Means that in some cases, you will have to angle the camera until you find the right spot. Getting it fixed, but for now, try and move a bit around until you find a spot that fits. Very inconvenient, I know
And as mentioned, I am usually a bit faster to answers on disc!

What other steps? She asked me to blow a pipe and I did, I see her on the second floor, but I can't interact with her.
Edit: It turns out that completing Slytherin Mischief is required to progress that part.

The optional mission in the castle is a buggy hellscape, falling through the floor, falling out of castle and not being able to get back other than two small spots near the walls where it teleports me back, finally getting on the roof just to clip through it and get stuck inside the inaccessible rooms inside of it.

Hell, even just doing the normal mission, without the side quest, while the floor is there, the textures dissapear in the main hall and the courtyard to give a nice view of what is under the castle or just simply void, it's playable but painful.

For the jumping puzzle, there SHOULD be an invisible floor that catches you and sends you back if you fail it. You're right tho that the right roof is missing a collider, sorry. Will be fixed
The missing floor textures that you are seeing is a result of occlusion culling which atm is forcibly enabled when entering that section because of how dense it is. It'll happen in some cases when angling the camera a little oddly, or when peering through very small windows, etc. You can however go to your menu and disable it again, but I don't recommend it

I'd really prefer it if people didn't. Also, you don't particularly seem to enjoy the game. Why do you keep posting here?
