I have tried before the cleaning up of the renders and after. Obviously a ways to go, but the updated renders make the visuals better.
For me, the asshole MC could get tough. Hoping that improves or may be a short lived one for me. Hopefully there will be some growth where he will have the choice to be a dick or not.

When your father was alive, the two of you were always loggerheads, and he was always a huge thorn in your side.
However, when he passed, you assumed things would get better; you were wrong.
The first update includes introducing the general story and meeting some of the included characters.
Dev use it if you like it.

Just went to make my first save and all my previous saves for the VN "We are Lost" are there? Strange, very strange.

Kinda curious that when I chose "load" on a 0.1 I was offered saves from "We are Lost" by a different Dev...
Maybe just come kleen, trying to pull the wool over members on this site won't go well...

Both Devs are using the same name for their renpy saves. If you shut it down and delete the 'dark_elegance-1653677868' folder in your appdata folder and reopen the game, it will be fixed. (You will need to delete the folder each time you want to open the other game until one of them changes their appdata name.

because you have "define config.save_directory = "dark_elegance-1653677868"" in your options,rpy.
either you took the whole options.rpy from the other game, or you forgot to change it from your first game

Losing my saves for We are Lost??? That game is already in bloatgate territory...
Shit do I have to become a game compressor again... I just want to drink and mindlessly play porn games rather than stay sober and crunch games every day...

No, you haven't lost them, they will be still be in the saves folder inside the We are Lost game. When you open that game, they will copy into the appdata folder.
