Good god the renders are incredible but this game has THE WORST type of sandbox elements possible in a Ren'py game ... Zero indication whatsoever as to where you need to go, enormous amount of places you can go with zero objectif therefore zero reason for even being able to go there to begin with, and a world map that barely shows where you can and can't click ... I just started this 15 minutes ago but let's see how much I can stomach the sandbox elements ...

Well, judging from his news posts from Patreon, those that can be read without a subscription:
1. For some reason, he has already CHANGED THE GAME FOR THE THIRD TIME! (First, he abandoned one linear one and created a new sandbox. Now he has changed the appearance of the main character and possibly the rest of them too.
2. He created another new game, despite the fact that this one doesn't have any normal new releases (maybe there are paid ones, I don't know), but the gist is the same... He created a new game when he couldn't figure out the old one.
That's what I understood from what I saw recently.

I spent nearly 15 minutes reading every dialogue again to see if I missed anything and why I couldn't start the art class, with zero indication whatsoever. And by sheer freaking miracle I somehow noticed that I can finally click on the chick inside the gym in the morning, and once you've done that you can finally click on the canvas to start the class.

Tell me again who the fuck thought this type of sandox was a good idea ?

I didn't insert all the photos of the girls from the game, but the appearance really changed again, and it even looks like the house, because in one of the photos in the post, a familiar one is lying between his legs, but at the same time, there is a room that is already in every game, I just attached this photo. 13.png

After wrapping up Rock the Rim, we thought we’d finally get a few days to relax, sip our coffee, and maybe even sleep in… but nope! Turns out, our render machines had other plans. It’s like they whispered, “Keep working,” and here we are, monitoring every frame like overprotective parents. Why? Because World of Secrets deserves nothing less than perfection, and every single scene needs to shine.
2024 was a year of growth for us. We learned, experimented, and redefined what it means to create immersive games. Our mission has always been to deliver experiences that resonate, not just for today but for the future. Balancing Rock the Rim and World of Secrets taught us how to push our limits, and now we’re bringing that energy to our next big release. Here’s a peek at where we’re at with World of Secrets:
What We’ve Done and Where We’re At:
  • Visual Novel Mode: As mentioned in our last update, the Visual Novel Mode will be the first version of the game to launch, and we’re happy to report that it’s now completely ready. Every scene, transition, and piece of dialogue has been polished to perfection. The narrative flows seamlessly, and the emotional core of the story shines brighter than ever.
  • Interactive Mode: In our previous update, we told you about the challenges of balancing the open-world design in the Interactive Mode. Since then, we’ve refined and restructured the gameplay mechanics. The result? A smoother, more intuitive experience that ensures you can explore the world without feeling overwhelmed. While the mode is still in development, progress is accelerating—and it’s shaping up to be something truly groundbreaking.
  • Characters Reimagined: We’ve taken character redesign to a whole new level. Not only have we revamped their visuals, but we’ve also enriched their personalities and interactions. Each character now feels more dynamic, authentic, and deeply connected to the narrative. From subtle expressions to meaningful dialogue, you’ll feel every moment with them.
  • Renders and Animations: Here’s the big update: over 75% of the renders are now complete, and the final stages of animation are well underway. In our previous announcement, we said the render machines were working overtime—now they’re practically family. (We even caught ourselves saying “good job” to one the other day. )
  • Honing the Dialogue: Building on what we learned from Rock the Rim, we’ve refined every line of dialogue to make it more natural, engaging, and impactful. The story now flows with an emotional depth that we’re incredibly proud of.
2025 and Beyond:
The Visual Novel Mode for World of Secrets will launch at the end of January, marking an exciting new chapter for the game. But starting from the very first day of 2025, we’ll be back in full swing! Expect to see us much more active, sharing updates, sneak peeks, and fun insights about the development process.
We know the past few months of office setup and project reorganization have been less than ideal—for you and for us. Trust us, no one’s more excited to leave that behind and dive into a more productive, engaging year. All of this groundwork was necessary to get to where we are, and we’re confident it’ll be worth the wait.

Alright I'm done with the game. I genuinely regret spending the last few hours on this game. There is a pathetic amount of content sprinkled inbetween worthless and pointless incessant clicking left & right in order to figure out where the fuck you're supposed to go and what the fuck you're supposed to do. And no, the cellphone app that tells you objectives doesn't tell you jack shit when you need it to. You have absolutely no idea if you've already done everything there is to do in the game and you're just passing the days for nothing or if there are still events/quests/storylines pending that don't trigger because you're not at the exact place at the exact moment.

On the OP for example I'm seeing a picture with the tattoo & tantra girl, never got that scene because I never got a quest for it and I'm not going to be doing back and forth between the tattoo parlor and the bed in order to rest or study and go back to check non stop, because hey, the fuck is a quick navigation menu for right, and let's click everywhere on the screen in order to figure out if something is a toggle or just part of the background. It's the exact same situation for the Yoga render with the redhead, never got it because I can't be fucking bothered to spend hours in order to miraculously stumble upon it. Spent 2 ingame days trying for it and just gave up. Zero indication that it even exists in the game.

Also the game clearly had a remake of some sort because all the character renders suddenly changed for the sunday massage scene and the last scene I got ingame which was the club selection.

Overall horrible experience. Zero consideration for the player's time and every horrible decision possible made in order to take a 15 minute Visual Novel game into a 5 hours point & click "sandbox" game.

I'm just giving this a 1/10, a single point just for the renders because they are well above average, but a giant turd sprinkled with gold dust remains a giant turd at its core. Now I know which dev(s) to clearly avoid. Artificially inflating the game time is a pathetic way of creating fake content.
