[PROGRESS REPORT] In the Face of Adversity
Hey, all. Sorry it's been so long since the last one of these. Got hit pretty hard financially, so I've had to return to working full time and even taking overtime to keep the bills paid. As a result, I haven't gotten as much done on WCA as I've liked. But still, there is progress, and here it is:
Truth be told, the entire team has been having a rough month. But we're experimenting with new productivity methods and approaches that we hope will smooth out the stress and let us happily work on WCA in a more consistent fashion. Life is a trampoline, and ya gotta be pushed down before you can bounce up. I have faith that the bounce is coming.
That being said, what we HAVE been able to do, we've been having a ton of fun with. Tilai D, in particular, is a scene that had me laughing so hard I was crying while I was shooting the renders. But it still manages to be sweet, just what you'd expect from our Goblin Princess, so I feel it's a good mix. Here's a little preview:
Worth noting, I am ABSOLUTELY going to be changing this outfit and hairstyle of hers, because it is a pain in the ass to shoot with. Not to mention when I disable her in the editor, the clothes stay visible for some reason.
Sidenote, I've been obsessed with Granblue Fantasy Relink over the past few months. Makes me wanna start a Granblue AVN...

March 2025 Calendar (with Birthdays!)
Hey, all!
So we had this idea in the Discord (halfway through the month, I know) of taking all the outfits I've been making to try to jumpstart my creative gears again and putting them in calendars with each girl's birthday. So here's the first one, for the rest of March! Featuring:

I have about 12 of these super off-the-wall outfits made so far, and I'm thinking of making Glamour Sets, solo pinup packs showcasing a single girl in her new outfit. Making little bits of side content like this has really gotten my gears turning again, and I hope to take that energy and funnel it into the main game for the next patch. Wish me luck!

As a supporter am extremely glad with how many improvements you have been making so delays in that aspect are fine. Expect the team has a smoother phase moving forward, such talented folks so yea definitely it'll be great if things turn around for the better. Take care there and much strength to y'all!

[PROGRESS REPORT] A Return to Previous Form
Hey, all! Before I get started yapping, here's where we're at:
Been pretty much hard-focusing Jade and Senia this round, and I started going back to an old technique I was using when creating Season 1: Writing and Shooting at the same time. See, when Season 2 began, I started splitting everything into steps, as outlined by the progress bars above. But I remembered that some of my most enjoyable scenes had come from writing and shooting simultaneously, and... well, it worked. I got 3 scenes for Senia done in 2 days. Of course, I far overstayed on the one from yesterday, 2 hours past my bedtime, but I'll learn to moderate.
Eventually.
In other news, I've been told by several people there's an issue with the Senia DLC. It has something to do with the way the Updater label is being called to define her "maxquest" variable, and on suggestion from the community I'll be converting most of the previous conditions to "renpy.has_label" since that scans the contents of RPA files and removes the need for controlling variables. I've been told by several people that this method is better than renpy.loadable and renpy.exists in nearly every way.
Speaking of Senia, we're up to 15 total scenes with her, finally getting an H-scene in. That's a very slow pace compared to most girls. For example, Mouse and Galka both had H-scenes on their 4th scene, while Druthari, one of the slower paced girls, I'm aiming to give one around her 7th scene. I consider the 5th scene being an H-scene to be about average. And since each Side Story will be around 20 scenes, that means the tail end of Senia's story should be packed with H-scenes, which is pretty true to her personality. I think you'll all enjoy her story and how things evolve from her being a little hesitant to becoming a little obsessed with intimacy.
Anyways, that's it for now!
Supporters, I'll have a DLC update out soon. I'll need to pitch you a couple of extra files for the compatibility fix, so I'll include those as well.

April 2025 Calendar with Birthdays (+4K Render)
We're headed into April and into Spring, and this comes with an assortment of new outfits! From left to right:

Also, on suggestion from the Discord, I changed the format of the birthdays. Since the month is obvious, and different parts of the world write dates in different formats, I just listed the day instead of month/day. Less angry Europeans this way.
