lolz we all saw this coming. Braindead never fails to fail at releasing his update on time and he loves waiting until the day before release date to do it.
One of the dumbest things I've seen, who the fuck cares about the interior of the home when the game has had so many delays? Just fucking update the game and worry about the other crap in the next update that will be delayed 8 times.

Literally in the last update they said they picked this date because they were sure it'd work and they made sure to carefully choose it so that it'd go along with their schedule. It's actually insane that this update was supposed to come out mid-November and is still being pushed further into February. Braindrop banned me from his Discord for claiming that this exact thing would happen.
They're trying to spin this as "it's not a long delay so it's not that big of a deal" well I remember the time in November when they said the game would be done in another week and after that week was up, they said it'd only be a few more days. Now it's almost February and we yet again have no release date and will be lucky if this update comes out this year at all. It's actually sad that everyone was able to see this coming from a mile away because the developer is seriously just that untrustworthy. If you're still subscribed, unsubscribe. The update isn't coming out any time soon so you might as well cancel your subscription and save your money.

A small delay? I'd hardly call three months a small delay. He says it's only a week longer and then next week he'll say he needs a couple more days then he'll go radio silent again and give us some sob story that we either accept or call him out on and risk looking like a villain. Braindrop will never release the update unless he loses a significant number of patrons and that isn't going to happen anytime soon because some people are so desperately holding onto the hope that he'll actually get back to working on the game properly. He has been saying this exhibition game update has been in the works for over a year now and when it releases it will probably be a measly few hundred renders.

At this point I feel about these excuses the same way I felt about Joffrey's cruelty in Game of Thrones - it became almost a fun game to be surprised by what new, pathetic angle was coming. Just when I thought I couldn't be more annoyed, we have found a new angle of cluelessness that I honestly didn't even think was possible. "I don't want these changes to be baked in" says the guy who is literally remaking the game entirely before he finished it. I look forward to the updated cups in MC's cabinet due in 2025, they're gonna be so much better than the cups before and well worth the wait and hey I'm already mad anyway so why not?
Someone should put BD's timeline of delays and excuses into a spreadsheet and see if we can create a predictive algorithm. I bet that could be finished before this next update comes out.

The game as a whole, yeah. However, this specific update alone has been in the works since around this time last year and still isn't out. He was claiming it was almost done in April of last year saying the exhibition game was this big hurdle he had to overcome. Then at some point he had apparently decided to redo the whole thing and released bits of it towards the end of last year, but they were supposed to be a part of one big update that would have included the current update we're waiting on.Its been in the works for 3 years

The furniture/settings get a bit samey/odd but nothing is more jarring in this game than the fucking weird choice of PJs/house clothes the girls all end up wearing. It's like a weird multi-colored rainbow nunnery. Bunch of hot bodies and they're all dressed like Jesus is knocking in a few minutes. Bruh >.>

In b4 Jesus is really the asshole behind all this bullshit we're dealing with because unlike a good christian boi we're giving it up before marriage and he just won't have that in his GOOD CHRISTIAN COLLEGE.
Keep in mind that this VN is a very long VN. I believe the last time I recall that BD was hoping to have this VN completed in 2024/2025 (there was an interview of BD back in 2019 or around that time). However it may seems to be extended additional 2+ years at least due to impact of COVID era (and other reasons). I believe BD may be able to complete this VN by the time we reach 2030.

As I understand it, that's what he is going to do - just in the past which again makes sense with the added amount of days until we reach the present.
So if you believe in him he has a bottleneck in the rework that prevents him from continuing with that alongside the present updates, so he's going to focus on the rework temporarily. The girls not living there for a month before redecorating the house in itself is believable I think.
