i didn't quite lie, but he did make *1* post in the last 3 days since the chunk-dropof course thats typical BD
now he is in hiding since the fiasco he again is at fault alone,hoping if he pokes his head out again after a few days that everything is forgotten.
then he comes again with a dumbass sob story how he paniced,how he feels, that everything has been dealt of,its getting better and...bla...bla...bla...
but don´t forget that it takes a few days/weeks to render these 100 "forgotten" images
because if he would have them it would be no problem to just bugfix it and bring it out ASAP
he has a new avatar (an actual duck?) and he posted a dog balancing a piece of butter on its head

At 1:59AM, BD was hard at work, busy with the finishing touches on a 3000 render update. Just as he was about to hit Enter and upload it, the clock struck 2, and the most remarkable thing happened: a large celestial object passed through at near right angles to the plane of the star system (probably a black hole), and at the same time, swamp gas from a weather balloon was trapped in a thermal pocket and refracted the light from Venus. These events, in conjunction with the Dodgers winning the World Series, lead to a tear in the spacetime continuum that Braindrop fell into. He is currently stuck in the lost hour of November 3rd, 2024, and will not return until March 9th, 2025.

you need to understand that when someone say this has good writing/story, it's not being compared to homer's odyssey but to other visual novels of the same genre. the bar for being above average when it comes to story-telling in visual novels is extremely low, that is why games who have at least a little bit of thought put into them often take off like crazy. we should also acknowledge the fact that the market for visual novels is relatively small and i would say it only became a thing recently. that is why people are so passionate about certain games, when you sift through all the garbage there isn't that much left, now also keep in mind like 50% of the remaining ones are abandoned. the vn "market" is rapidly declining and that is mainly because a large portion of devs is more keen on only collecting the patreon check instead of actually working on their game but that topic probably deserves a thread of it's own.

honestly, disappearing is the smartest thing he can doi know i saw it myself in discord and since then nothing.

as i said if he had these missing renders it would be quite easy to "fix" that problem with the missing renders in that update.
but noooooo what does he do??

he could solve that problem first and then goes silent but doing it THIS way only gives the impression that he has never had these 100 Renders ready and this shitshow is again only an act from him to distract from the reality.
my bet is for 5 or 6 days of silence because that is roughly the time he needs to make 100 renders
and then 1 or 2 weeks for playtesting and small touches and then..... another delay

oh i love desert stalker ....but that doesn mean i not right....but to be tru to myself the gameds lack of many thing this have and the same goes vicevers,...i dont like freeroams and sanbox games,....i dont see how much of a story plot ds have,...im not a fan of zomebie shit,..and or last man anything.so ...for me is a good game but not better than this,......ah and have avoidable ntr on it so ...a big no..look for Desert Stalker then talk again.....

I get the point , and i kinda agree .. but somehow i don't lol . From my limited experience , having not played all of them , i can still safely claim that the bulk of 4+ rated around here ( excluding those at 4+ stars with single digit amount of reviews so far) , are easily setting a much higher standard . The highly rated "crap" i can easily count on one hand , and most usually involve drip feeding a bad story and dialogues via an heavy grind , usually within sandboxes or tedious rpgm mechanics .
When digging for quality , the bar ain't that low ... it ain't at WVM's level at least . I kinda get why it's popular , it throws hand-fists of girls at people and used a popular sports topic ... but that's it . It can't even properly manage a 24h days cycle in writing.

It is sad that money can change someone so much. He started with a decent concept. If you can't handle social interaction,my suggestion would be don't setup a discord channel. Make your AVN put it out and continue with the avn or continue with your life. I know it was a unimaginable story and pure fantasy,but we are not looking for real life (i hope not). i might or might not have some kinks that i can't do in real life so i will try the wildest avn i can find just for the pure fantasy of it. Just to be clear i am not talking about sadistic things,just things people i socialize with are not open to. Wvm was a choice based avn with a little of everything. I think he let the avn control him instead of him controlling the avn. IT makes me sad to see it happen to anyone.

i think the single biggest mistake he made, and pretty much every game that has a BIG mistake is the same thing, is letting higher-tier sub ranking dictate what goes in to or is changed in a game
1) please use your own vision, it's always better (if the game would succeed anyway)
2) with all due respect, "normies" don't fucking know anything about what they really want
3) those people (high tier) aren't gonna stay there long term, and then your main base stuck with whatever frankenstein options your temporary big-bucks put on the line
Waifu Academy, Milfy City, Harem Hotel (briefly, redeemed), and WVM are some solid games that were big ticket in the day that suffered from this (i know there are others)
it's a good money milker for those who are not serious about their VNs and plan to eventually abandon them, but if you plan to go from A to Z and finish something ... man, DO NOT let your fanbase dictate the direction of your game (with due respect)
EDIT : example, if * i * were calling the shots on this game right now (in it's current state), i'd have PP Shauna betray the MC and steal all of his Top Waifus and fuck them silly, then become the secret dark-horse protagonist
I know Anti would be there with me, but i know for the integrity of the game and the majority of the fanbase, that would be a disaster (but better than no content at all <3 )
