Let's take a step back and believe some of BD's lies, many of which are absurd, incoherent and incongruous, the man claims to have a family, wife, children, house and let's be generous and add a dog for the complete package.

I don't understand and find it ridiculous that a family man, head of the family, doesn't have even the slightest bit of responsibility in him... I even doubt that he really understands the meaning of the word.

By the way, day 20 and we still haven't finished the hellish episode 13...

Not even gonna weigh in on the latest batch of excuses, but given some of the comments I've seen, I would like to point out that BD used the term "urgent care", not "emergency room". Which, here in the US, at least, are two different things. An urgent care facility is more or less like a regular primary care doctor, except they only take walk-ins with relatively urgent cases, rather than by pre-scheduled appointment like your usual PC physician. They are usually a third party practice with between three and five MD/DOs and several nurse practitioners and physician assistants in a medium-sized practice, or in some cases an adjunct of a hospital ER. They handle things that can't wait for an appointment but aren't serious enough for the ER, though in some cases they will triage you and refer you to a hospital ER or even call an ambulance for you instead, though they are commonly equipped for interim emergency lifesaving measures. They usually have extended hours, but are not open 24/7 like an ER. Based on what BD describes (again, not gonna comment on veracity), an UC facility is actually the most appropriate choice.

On another note, and as much I'll say on the matter, I'm curious: Does anyone think we might get some small update or fix as a Christmas or New Year's gift? Or will we be waiting until the middle of next year? Perhaps Christmas 2025? Since that seems to be common theme of discussion at this point, and the moderators seem to be tolerating it at present.

I was going to ignore it but I feel alluded to. What you say is irrelevant, is it supposed that because BD went to urgent care and not to the emergency room things change?

No, the point is that according to him he felt bad enough for a doctor to check him out.

And it's not that i don't understand what you're saying, one is for critical situations and the other is more for emergencies that may not be very serious but in this situation it's irrelevant, and it sounds more like you're defending him and trying to disqualify my opinion just because of a technicality.

Yes using the right words is important but context is KING.

Hey, it's possible that I'm not understanding your point, but your post feels like: "Stop criticizing BD, PLEASE MODERATOR DO SOMETHING!!"; with an ending of: "I'm not defending, look, I'm even making fun of him."

Soooo another 3 missed days because of a conveniently timed "migraine"?. Funny how this guy is plagued with illnesses or natural disasters the days of release. Pffffffft. Wish the dude would just man up n say he's not gonna make date. rather than try and pull a sympathy card based of lies to try n get some pity support. Rather support an honest man than a pathological liar.

You are putting unnecessary pressure on this...

He has been saying since April that everything is ready, he is just doing some tests and that everything will be released VERY SOON...

I think you've figured it out pretty well. The mods are usually not tolerant of the amount of off-topic discussion that goes on in this thread, but this particular dev has gone so far beyond the norm with his excuses and non-delivery that the moderators have agreed that this thread warrants lenience. Nobody actually ever expects an update. It's just an amusing surprise when one happens because of how much this dev fails to deliver.

In response to Taylan13 (for some reason "reply" didn't work correctly)
I'm certainly not defending BD, but neither do I see any particular point in jumping on the bashing bandwagon, either. Though I will certainly poke a bit of fun. Not much point in being angry and yelling about it, ya know? Besides, as unbelievable as the never-ending train of excuses are, at least few of them might have some kernel of truth. And, it almost seems even more unbelievable that this is deliberate and BD thinks he can just snow everyone forever. Not really sure what the hell to think at this point. I did, however, feel it necessary to point the difference between an ER and UC simply because I believe in being accurate, especially if you are criticizing, and the difference was relevant to point out based on several posts. Am I being clear enough?

yes, yes... it was scheduled for the end of 2023, but in April (2024) he published that E13 was ready, that only a few tests were missing. and he also said that E14 was quite advanced

and we didn't see any of that
