Being a football fan is the weakest excuse for being lazy you literally have 6 days a week where your team doesnt play and half a year off. And game day is only 4 hours of your life
That's if you're only counting the actual game hours. You have to include
pregame celebration preparation (gathering the goods and scheduling with others may take days, nay,
weeks of planning!),
pregame celebration proper (this stage often begins in the morning on game day),
postgame celebration/mourning (this stage lingers, with some still bragging or bitching about individual games years later),
postgame celebration/mourning hangover (this stage may take a day),
post/game celebration/mourning cleanup (this stage may be several days based on how hard you went), and any fallout from your spent time (day job, family responsibilities neglected... not to mention you may now be behind in
pregame celebration preparation for the next game).
So realistically, every individual game may cost a true fan over a week of life. It's so unfair to them. Won't someone please think of the superfans?
