She was his friend, but what is that timeline? There are good friends of mine I haven't met in a while who have kids I've never met. I still consider them friends. Further, if sister went with mother, why would she know about it if he were keeping it secret?
Honestly, it seems pretty clear Damien is treating Jasmine as a beard. If he were just hiding his bi-nature would he really not ANYTHING with her for several years? Without really talking about it? I think regardless of MC's interference, there wasn't anything there.
