So I'm unable to spend much time on this even though I would like to.

What's he going to blackmail him for?

Somebody brought up that if the tape was released, Charles and the school would be hit way harder than the MC by it.

Charles would have to explain to the board why they were in his office and why he had video equipment filming people fucking in his office.
MC would be just another college kid having sex, Charles would be unemployed.
People keep bringing up blackmail but there isn't a single thing he can be blackmailed with. MC has done nothing illegal. At most he's broken some college rules by fucking in the deans office which would probably get him a slap on the wrist considering his importance to the place and the fact one of their own tried to blackmail a college kid with an illegally made sex tape.
I get it's a game and "porn logic" but trying to come up with any sort of blackmail scenario when the MC is in the clear and Charles would come out worse is kinda counter productive.

I wouldn't say "at all". While I've argued the same point before about the threat being much larger for Charles and the school, clearly the staff / student issue is one that could impact MC, especially as the strict changes as a result have been brought up multiple times. It's just not a STRONG angle since MC expulsion is worse for Charles, but he would be disappointing Harper and his new team.

Real life logic Charles can use it to expell MC and ruin MC possible scout recruitment in real life you have to have 1year of college before you can be drafted or scouted. See I understand that "porn logic" is a big problem but isn't where I was coming from and I know we all know MC is Charles golden goose but in real life people get desperate if not done there way. We seen that Charles would do anything to make MC happy but what if he is so desperate to control the situation that he would hold it over his head.

Boy, oh boy, are you right on that count - the amount of shitthat guy gets done in a day is astounding!! Plus, it's every single day, too! He doesn't get any days off for good behaviour!

Only detraction from it being plausible, is that anything Charles has to blackmail the MC with would also harm the school's reputation considerably more, making Charles trying to blackmail him a little counter-productive.

The game is still early, I would not expect soon. I'd project 50%+ on the route to final. The characters have a lot to get through first.

Pretty sure "dean tries to blackmail college student with illegally obtained sex tape" would pretty much kill the college, Charles chance for ever working again and all the Mc would have to do is find another college.
There is no way to blackmail the MC without it ruining the college and Charles' own career.
I said "porn logic" because that's the only way it would work.
