This game does not need any reviews and confirmations - it is a game with the fastest and most transparent development cycle, it is also a game with high quality (not the highest, there is even better, but definitely in the top 20-10 harem VN for the last 2 years) I think you even can measure VN quality parameters in bd (braindrops) :ROFLMAO:
BDIK is Steam game currently - different scale
And author of BDIK is complete BDIK - forbade fans to translate the game, and he doesn’t do it himself

I really don't know why this game gets hate, it has an almost weekly update (except for problems that are uncontrollable and a fucking pandemic), great renders and a very good pace. Not to mention that it is an inclusive game with trans people. BD deserves love.

Remember that your point was "Why would users who like the game not like other positive reviews?". It's because they feel they are in an environment where *they feel they do not need to*. What would be their motivation to be proactive about it? The game is rated very well. If F95 were to turn on negative reactions for reviews, I suspect you might get a much better picture of general sentiment.

It doesn't help that "go like my review" is a thing that happens on lot on Discord and the like, and there's always going to be a lot of bitterness among people who do not think this game deserves the success it has had. Clicking "like" on a negative review is the best they can do.

All the successful indie developers I know are the same.

You obviously are blind.Go to any big game review section and check.You will see plenty of people that have just trolling there.
I am pretty sure we have some people with 10+ accounts,maybe even 100 just to post 1 stars reviews for any game.

"Fan" Incest mods are a thing because Devs can't be associated with that content. That being said if BD really wanted it to happen he would have given them less familial names. So maybe we never get an MC and Azel love scene, I'd be really sad about that. It feels like they have more chemistry and intimacy than the MC and Stacy.

Also disappointed because I thought we were going to be able to fuck every woman we came across. I guess I was mistaken.
