I guess it's time for me to get cracking on the game again. I'm sure it will be ready somewhere in the next 12 months. You just need to keep the faith.
To give you a little bit of insight, the game is currently at chapter 13. BD himself said this chapter was ready by the end of 2023. Then after a lot of excuses he said he had ch13 AND 14 ready already and was releasing a big update a little south of 2k renders to make up for the delays, he was just running into compiling issues then for the big update of 13 and 14, that was early 2024, fast forward a lot of promises and excuses we are now still not finished with ch13 and his last release he literally SKIPPED a key scene to the story that made everyone mad, now he's late AGAIN for the release that will fix that.
Mind you, he never spoke about ch14 being ready again, just that he plans to release "scene by scene" from now on, basically promising short but constant updates when he can't even fix stuff he messed up but the promises sure keep coming.
And that's just the latest part of his saga, this type of shit has been happening for about 4 years.

if it were the real BD, it would take 2 weeks to respond. that response would be at least 4 paragraphs long, with each paragraph being a contradiction of the other. and you would be martyring yourself about how difficult and miserable your life is.
and then you would give a new deadline.
and you would not honor that new deadline either.

His game had close to a 5/5 stars game and he made about 4k per month on Patreon.
Then he literally took years (more than 2) to do an update, all while earning 4k/month. When the update eventually came (After years of waiting), it was...well to call it underwhelming is an understatement.
I do not call a dev a milker very easily, but if there ever were a personification of a milker, he was it.
His reputation is an tatters though. He will never be able to have success with another game with that Alias.

while i agree i think they gave themselves little room to work with......if they said afew weeks but when something pops up peeps will take it as a delay

youre the one saying they gave themselves little room to work with, episode 13 was done and to be released in february 2024, 10 months ago, and that was already a delay on original release date. so either you were being so sarcastic you didnt even know it, or well here we are
