Well there is no "Unless it's a friend and they didn't want anyone to know out of fear of losing support." when money is involved, personal experience of mine say that there is no friendship when my livehood and abillity to pay my bill and provide for my familly is threatened, the only way i see BD agreeing to any of that is a contract between him and the newly developer which states that the new dev will give percentages to BD for the use of character names/models which BD had already bought from daz store ....I thought this was a possibility at one point, because he seems so different and the development went off the rails. Looking at it realistically though I'd say it's highly unlikely. This game was so successful right from the start. How much would it take to buy it out? At least a few hundred thousand if it was me. That's just the starting point. If he kept a percentage of the game I'm sure he'd have the option to take the game back if the development wasn't to his liking or if the new developer was bleeding supporters. That's something you would do with someone you know and trust. Whoever this is sure as shit isn't trustworthy.
Hey almost anything is possible, life has taught me that.
Yeah it's a nightmare. Hopefully it worked out okay for them.
Unless it's a friend and they didn't want anyone to know out of fear of losing support. I don't think that's the case, but it's possible. As much as things have gone off the rails I think he would've taken development back. Unless he's getting money and doesn't care.
