He never interacted with Jasmine, so how could Jasmine get any closure from that ?she got closure when Damien called her at your house and broke it off with her ....he was with Ryker and those others that hung out with Ryker ... you forget the bowling alley ? and when he followed Jasmine to your newer house to talk with you one last time ?
and your correct when saying its all upto BD anyways ... but we'll just have to wait and see i would think
All Jasmine got was the MC huggin her and telling her what a dick he was. That's not closure.
She needs to be the one to have the face to face with him to properly vent / slap the shit outta him should she choose to. Crying in the arms of the MC only continues the damsel in distress personality she had and we know she's not given her own desires to do more.

So you're saying Jasmine should lower herself to Damien's standards and just ghost the man, never get any recourse for that note she wrote or have any revelation that she was being used by Damien to hide the fact that he was in the closet.
Jasmine should narratively be given the chance to confront him and get closure. I get you think that a phone call is the way to go, but that does nothing for Jasmine as a character. If you happen to like the Damnsel in Distress Archetype or the Frail Lady who needs a capable man to handle her affairs fine. That's not how Jasmine has been portrayed and it would serve her better to be the one to handle her own affairs rather than the MC.

24th is the earliest it's coming out. He made that estimate thinking he would work on the game a little on his honeymoon, which, honestly, was unrealistic and a bit silly. He updated it to between the 24th and the end of the month since then.

I mean the Dev should make it up to the player. Devs who don't care what players want tend to do poorly. This one is one of the better ones.

I have much more respect for devs telling their stories how they want to tell them rather than pandering to the masses. Unless it's marketed as a 'choose your own adventure' type game, which I wouldn't say this is, some story decisions should be up to the dev.

Really? I've seen a lot of developers who do well telling the story they want to tell. I value that integrity.
EDIT: it is sometimes quite curious the things that cause some people to facepalm. Integrity? The author having the freedom to follow their own vision? The world may never know.

While I respect the devs story, I do think something like this should be up to the player. He really did fuck MC over and could of put the people he cared about most in danger.
Just my opinion. If people think they can forgive him fine but, for people who can't they should have that choice. Not up to me but I think on a topic like this it would be best to pander to both sides.

We don't know how critical that decision might be later on, and whether it would result in potentially nearly doubling the development time if it creates a very different path. At the end of the day it is the dev's story to tell, and if he doesn't want to create that radically different path then he doesn't have to do it.

OK first off, the MC is the type of guy that wouldn't jump Jasmine's bones the first chance he got due to her just getting out of a bad relationship. Second, BD has multiple options to run this, he could simply raise the question to the MC as to how he would give his opinion to Jasmine on how to go about her breakup and leave it at that. MC could use his status to bring attention to Damien's mother and their plight to help with the med bills, thus taking away the hold over him.
You can totally get closure without being face to face dude your just wrong also I don't give a shit if Jasmine gets closure what's far more important is her fucking the MC as soon as possible. The last few updates have mostly been story focused it's time to get back to the fucking
