i think he is trying everything to delay the update.
it is clear how he acts and avoids in the last week or two that all of it is just an act to try to further delay it as long as he can.
i mean come on how can it take so long for 100 renders to implement in the update that has just been slipped him and the rest was done for like what since september??

so there he just tries to delay it as long as he can.
and then another ass long dev report with all talk bla, bla, bla instead of just fucking get to the point and bring that 1 yeah late update out already.

his cultists in discord are just too dumb to see it how it is.
He could've done the 100 renders by now. But he hasn't. Instead he's doing one of his classic "wave hands" (poll, etc.) to get his subs to focus on something other than the non-existent/missing content. It's lot easier to poop out a teaser every once in a while than to do any real work. There are plenty of devs on Patreon that do just that.

I'm glad he's not doing the daily tracker again because each time it's just been nonsense; the only activity being him putting numbers into a spreadsheet with no actual work to go with it.

Interesting to see a discord member (schlong383) put the smack down on BD and not get insta-banned:

How long is a while? If it was back when the game got regular updates, that was a long time ago, and this thread is nonstop discussion of how that doesn't happen because the dev keep posting lies.

Your account was created just under 3 months ago and your first post is praising what a good job the dev is doing when his latest update was not only over a year late but also missing a large amount in the middle? Yeah, that's not suspicious at all.
I've only been playing AVN's less than a year, so not as all knowing as some of you more experienced kinksters.... however, despite having had to wait a long time for this last update which is the first one i've had to wait for, I enjoy the story, and the hedonistic I want 'em all nature of the MC. My post was not intended to be an end all siskel and ebert review of the creator or his lack of timely updates. It was indeed the first avn I played on gamcore. Don't overthink it friend. It's simply my opinion of the game itself without all the negatives. I'll leave that to the professional haters. I don't have time for all that nonsense. Maybe i'll live long enough to see it finished lol.

This game very quickly devolves into something which simply should not be allowed to exist.

All I'd say to the creator(s) of this and other VN's is this - just fucking stop. Stop inserting pointless characters. Tell the existing, necessary characters stories and then make another game with the new characters. Figure out what characters NEED to exist to move the plot forward, flesh them out and leave it there. You'll very quickly realize you're already dealing with more characters than you can honestly do justice.

This is a college kid, he should have 3-4 friends from classes he attends and anything more is too much. He's a star basketball player, that's 4 other starters and 2-3 bench players that are going to have to continuously be interacting. Throw in the coach, 3-4 cheerleaders. Congratulations, we've already exceeded the number of close relationships even an extrovert can healthily manage before getting to the "intimate" relationships. The creator of this went ahead and threw in dozens of other chicks who all appear to be closely related, if not identical other than their hair/eye color. I'm several hours in, fast forwarding most of the time, and still getting propositioned by chicks that look like half-melted versions of the chicks I've already turned down. There should be zero new named characters at this point, with the entire focus being on advancing the plot and existing characters story arcs. There are literally so many fucking characters that they're having to put unique spins on already used names. Occasionally, we'll get new, attractive character models that I do NOT want to engage with bc I want to get back to engaging with the characters we chose to interact with HOURS ago who only received a handful of paragraphs to incorporate their entire existence.

This game in particular has a serious problem with the models. The females always look like they're on the verge of crying. When some of them smile, it's literally enough to make me jump out of my chair. After a while, when the models go in to kiss the MC they look more like a horse trying to nibble on a carrot than a human going in for a kiss. Hell, the MC's dick goes from nearly the size of his quad in one scene to something that would struggle to be considered average irl during a sex scene.

This game is a literal bait and switch. It brings you in with some attractive characters with the beginnings of an interesting story, then it swaps in and focuses on characters you'll have zero interest in.
he's probably adding 200 more girls as we speak. Tbh man Long Road Home does it the best for this "harem" format. Introduces new character as much better pace then this game so the story actually flows and doesn't get out of hand. Personally I like a big cast of characters just cause the games feel more lively but I get what you mean

User-On-User assault is usually not my forte' , but i've made an exception in this case
you see, i'm an unusually bitchy and petty person, so :

with the information available for the entirety of your post history, you ser, are a Liar
and yes, i wasted my time on this, do something about it
Hahahaha is this Sherlock Holmes? Bravo, you can see someone's post history, ain't that crazy, you are truly one of the detectives of all time. You're right, you're very rude and petty with absolutely nothing better to do with your time.

Was this supposed to be a "gotcha" moment? I don’t recall ever mentioning that I warned people on this website specifically, did I? It's pretty obvious that I don't post here.

I'll get to the point to not waste too much time on you.

Concerning braindrop, it was his pattern of uploading, the quality of the content, as well as the excuses he came up with every time that made it incredibly obvious from the start. This article I read back then confirmed my suspicions that he was just dragging it out to milk people. In the interview, he mentioned wanting to work on the game for a very long time (clearly longer than necessary), which doesn't make much sense from a development standpoint, especially for a small game, unless you want to get that sweet sweet monthly patreon money. Oh and to clarify, this wasn’t two years ago, it was closer to three or four.

It stuck with me because I realised just how easy it is to make money in the adult market with extremely mediocre garbage. If this is the quality of the competition, and the target customer base is this gullible and willing to pay for basically anything, then with experience in coding and CG, you could make a far better product and rake in crazy money. DarkCookie and Dr PinkCake being a few examples of this.

Anyways, checking back to see that people are still complaining like it wasn't obvious is hilarious to me, the dev is laughing. A scam in plain sight.

Announcing a release date for the actual game is one thing, but I'll never understand why he does the same thing for dev logs. Instead of posting about when he'll post it, why not.... just post the log?
Probably because it gives the illusion of progress. People remember he has interacted with them more times this way if he announces his upcoming announcements (two or more separate posts!) instead of just announcing.

Interrupting the rants for a rant of my own. So I have started getting into AVNs again after change of PCs and finally discovering that Win 11 has an on-board unzipper and I decided to try Willing Virgin Manufactory a.k.a. Hugging and Crying Simulator: The Game again. Since the save games are still on the old hard disk in the old PC I had to start over and it took me several days to get through it. Changes to old playthrough: Went on the cheating path, got Elizabeth in early, Penny is out. Old progress was up until entering the refurbished stadium, exhibition game had not started yet.

------

So, I definitely found out that this VN is best served in small dosage. Playing from start to finish in one go makes you go from more or less meaningless sex scene to the next, with every day seemingly consisting of 60 hours. I understand that this is supposed to get fixed in the rework of the first 30 days, whenever that may occur. However, this was not even remedied after Day 31, as the days are still way too long.

There are now three "intended" breaking points in the game. The first one I could not quite detect as I've changed paths, but must be somewhere within the first month where the rework is currently ending, the second one at the end of Day 30 where the story suddenly doesn't make sense for a while. [Where did the Don't talk to the MC at College suddenly come from? Who TF are Granny, Bea, 4t? All of them have never been mentioned before.] Maybe the confusion stems from not being on Penny's path anymore, but what do I know? Third one is obviously the missing renders during Dahlia's conversation, where I stopped as I don't see any sense of continuing with the game when I have to back-track anyway. I feel BrainDrop should definitely work on those construction sites first to create a more seamless experience instead of adding more and more story to the end.

In general - and again, this might be a me problem as I tend to actually read the plot so it takes me longer to get through - I feel the pacing is a bit wrong. Meaning, the sex scenes and plot advancement could be interwoven much better. As the VN stands we have hours of sex scenes, lots of plans that really never come to fruition and they are getting delayed and delayed to be replaced with more sex scenes, and suddenly we get a three hour break with an exposition dump that keeps dragging on and on and on. All the while new girls keep getting added instead of deepening existing relationships and doing more stuff with them instead of just an additional sex scene.

Now don't get me wrong, I don't mind sex scenes, otherwise I'd obviously be in the wrong place. They have evolved a bit over the years, getting longer, having more animations. (Still not up to the standards though set by games like Delta Iota Kappa, Thirsty for my Guest or even the later Dots ones. But not bad.) You definitely do see a preference though as some girls have multiple ones while the likes of Stacy, Kimmy or Emiko are still waiting for theirs: and even in the longer, establised relationship ones we get extensive scenes with Rachael, Elizabeth, Bailey and Zoe while others are neglected. Like before, instead of strengthening those relationships and doind activities outside of the next sex scene we are adding six rainbow girls and a billionaire orgy. Meanwhile, Shauna still seems written for an exclusive Trans part even after Day 30.

Somehow fitting that for me the exhibition game and the search for the cheerleaders were the more engaging and standout moments since they did not include sex scenes for a while. Call it a "breath of fresh air" if you will.

While I know that there won'T be any inc scenes I find it puzzling that there are still optional kissing scenes with Hazel quite far into the plot. Rachael may have stopped teasing about it, but it's still going on. At this point it feels like a stringing along of the inc crowd who are still hopeful.

Final point, I'd like to have some variety. I don't know if it's BrainDrop's special fetish, but the MC causes a lot of walking problems. I was actually excited when Elizabeth announced that she did so much masturbation that she wouldn't have any problems keeping up with the MC. Only to have her end up with weak knees like all the others, more experienced women. Can we have, just once for good measure, have the MC exhausted and the partner saying, like, oh, it's a pity, I could have gone on. Or are you up for another round, something like that.

-------

Long story short, yes, the VN is not bad if you are into the ultimate power fantasy, or a cult (something that BrainDrop even makes fun of at some point). Waiting times for updates seem to have increased, but the content added while I haven't played was decent.
