He can't even get a dev report out on time much less an update how is he going to do a remake add sounds and music, a UI overhaul with gallery and character sheets as well as android builds. I think he's dreaming if he thinks he can get that done when we are still waiting on an update that should have been out forever ago.

Can anyone please ask him WTF Dionyx has been doing? Who supposedly sat right beside him all this time and who's sole purpose to the work on this rework.

Before anyone mentions it. Yes, I know Dionyx never existed. I would just love to see what he had to say about it. Because surely, after all this time he would have made substantial progress on the remake, right?

Even though he said it was completed, It took him a year and a half to put out the 500+/- renders of the deliah scene we have because "he wanted to get it right". Which left us readers with a few things explained, and lots of more questions. Especially in the sense of direction the story is leading.
So all this build up and all this drama right at a major section of the story...THIS is when he wants to pause progress to "rework" shit he already had completed?!?!? so why wait damn near 2 years to release something to his "perfection". If the next step was more rework....
nah,bullshit. Especially since he allegedly said he was paying someone to already do the rework. He needs to Put out story as fast as possible even if it doesn't make any damn sense cuz at this point it barely does anyways. Then do the fuckin rework.
But my guess, this is a final plea before he finally breaks and gives up altogether on the game.cant use the excuse that he needs a break to figure out where story is going because he had 2 fuckin years already to try n figure that out. i swear this dude does more work trying to find a way to disappoint people then to do the story.

In the last few days I've been replaying it on a whim because I'm pretty busy and lack the mental capacity to play anything new, and because I haven't played the last couple updates. It's quite interesting. so far I got a bit further than the Penny car scene.

few notes:
1. It was talked about non stop but god damn the duck faces are disgusting - some scenes looks like they are straight up ripped from a horror movie.
2. I really dislike Jamie and Shauna, they are the worst LI's of the whole cast and their scenes aren't great. Jamie gets a bit of a pass for being the harem enabler and for representing, in a mildly vanilla and sorta kinda way the rare unrepresented kink of a cuckquean LI.
3. Bailey is most definitely the best girl.
4. I forgot just how aggressively BD teased Azel and Willow.
5. There's very little excuse to spend 70% of the time reworking old content - especially when 30% of 1 update a year means we won't see another update again before WW3 comes and stops the development. Honestly the older content holds up pretty well, and is good enough and arguably better than anything released the last 3 years. All there is to gain is to space out the events and some mild graphical improvements (although Harper looks like crap early on).
6. WVM is 6 years old, I realized it when the game shouts out a few other games that are ancient and complete by this point.
7. Damien having this stupid smirk most of the time is hilarious, there are many cases of things like that - honestly, BD did a lot with very little when he was actually working on the game.
8. On one hand the dialogue is pretty decently written.
9. On the other hand - queue 'You are a beautiful women with a lot to offer' 100 times. yikes.

Honestly it reminded me why it was highly regarded back then, BD really fumbled it HARD.

well to be fair at some point in the game there where scenes with characters that know the MC but none remembered from where they came from.
out of nowhere they where there,and they where acting like they knew each other.
he implemented the characters too early where it made no sense.
i remember he said to make the change from the actual game to the rework smoother,and now in the rework they will be properly introduced with new content and such.
but that was at least 4 or 5 years ago...

but that is all the credit he will get from me...

Yah that's true, I forgot about that since I kinda checked out and stopped caring before he did that.
Either way, I feel like its a mistake that was made so he could avoid working on new content (As with most VN reworks) - but unfortunately as you said he gotta go through with it now.
Its all part of the downward spiral BD is in since 2022.
