Well at least there was some hot scenes this update. I'll be honest, fellow degenerates, I can't take this game seriously one bit. I get that MC is a gigachad famous college athlete, but this dude is the ubermensch of anime harem protagonists. He's Plato's philosopher king on Mary Sue steroids. I won't be surprised if in the final update (out by 2045) he has sex with female God and she gives birth to him so that she may send him back in time to his mother's womb. Every other male is either gay, VERY devoted to their wife, or a literal Nazi demon from super hell for the player to hate. Maybe I'm being a little too critical, but damn the writing can be so cringe. I at least expect MC to be declared a literal god for his 80 woman harem to worship by the end of this. At least many other games drop the seriousness and recognize that they're what they are: wish fulfillment fantasies with a cast of babes to pipe. WVM just takes itself way too goddamn seriously.
I keep coming back for the high quality renders and really sexy models, which this game is honestly in my top five for, but man, does my TAB key take a beating when I play this game. At least the dev said the next update will be out shortly, so I'll see all of you in 5 months instead of 6 this next time.

MC still has the best looking face in this picture...by a wide margin.
Things to keep in mind:
--BD stated the reason for split of this update with the released half being smaller was due to trying to avoid ending on a "downer".
--BD has previously teased a pic of a hospital bed with someone in it (My guess was Skye, but hard to tell) that is supposed to be part of this basketball game update.
Unknown if it will contain scenes of giving the "kiss of life" and "playing doctor"...but he did mention most of the lewd scenes are still to come for this update in the second half.
I just hope the hospital room doesn't need redecorating...

Man the super incremental progress with some of these girls (and Skye) is going to drive me crazy. At that glacial pace and with the roster of 1000s of girls (which just got increased again, I think? These fangirls and that announcer girl are probably going to be back, right?) and BD's update pace, there is just no way we will ever see anything there.
A kiss from Skye, a fucking forehead kiss with Harper, Natalie being naked and Jamie and Shauna barely kissing each other was about all the progress made in this update. I guess I should stop waiting for an actual threesome with Jamie and Shauna instead of the current first-the-one-then-the-other deal that has been going on for a while...

I get its a petty point that I wouldn't have noticed if I hadn't had to play through again to remember who, and what had happened, but after taking so long to get this far it's actually funny, in a depressing way, BD can't remember the name of the team that is being set up as the main rivals. The first time we see Jax on tv, (After the pool party with Natalie in the cinema room.) he's introduced as "Jax from The Briars!", spin on to game day and suddenly everyone refers to them as "The Thorns!". Now I would understand if one was an insult from opposition/rivals, but they're announced at the stadium as such so unless the full name of the team is the Briar Thorns it just makes no sense.
I've kept an eye on this game since the early days and used to really like it, and was stoked to finally get another update, but after taking so long to get everything right to then forget the name of the team you're using as the sporting villain is just depressingly poor and added to all the broken promises etc of the past 2 years has really dulled my interest.
I have other gripes with the game/development all round but I get its the creators right to do things his way so just ignored/powered through same as I would for any film/tv show I enjoy, (Marvel and Star Wars being 2 of the main culprits and 2 of the biggest franchises around, before anyone thinks I'm pretending it's only an issue in smaller or indy productions,) but it's like starting Endgame and suddenly everyone is trying to undo "Andy's snap".
I've been on f95 for 4 1/2 years and this is my first comment, like or interaction of any sort on the site despite playing a lot of great original and parody games I've found here, but I'm not someone that normally posts online with my opinions about anything, but given BD's constant statements about being a perfectionist and wanting to get everything right, it's something that's bugged me more than all the delays and excuses combined.
I'll probably forget this by the time the next update is released, and in general really enjoy the game so I'll download the next update when it comes along, and if it takes as long as this one did, get as irritated all over again when I have to do another recap play through and spot it again, but hey, what can you do when like something and want to see how it turns out when (If?) its finished.
On another note, why do I get the feeling that come the title deciding game, if we ever get there, that the MC is going to end up not only facing up against Jax, but Ryker will suddenly appear out of the blue as a ringer for the Thorns, (Briars, maybe Roses by then?) in an attempt to put him off and he'll run rings round both to score the decisive points and win the title and guarantee his dream of #1 draft pick?
Can't wait to see the Suns/Pentagrams (
) win it all on my 100th birthday!

Th only thing right now i hope dev would give mc is some killr michael jordan skills to destroy the opposing team i relly don't want to see our mc loose the first game ( or any pro games he play ) after missing the first shot on court...also i hope mc plays in the game even though right now he is not.....
is there anything from BD on what he was thinking giving renders with black boxes on MCs neck? i just cant imagine how anyone can do that render and think:"YEP, THATS GOOD!" fucking ridicoulus is what it is.

I really liked the update and other than the fact that BD needs to mantain this momentum I am pretty happy.
However i do have a couple of issues,
1) not kissing Harper was bullshit thats twice now we have had that fake out.
2) i am all for slow burn but when the same 6 or so girls keep getting sex scenes we need a few faster pace girls to change it up. ( Aubrey helped a lot there and i am super glad to have her this early)
3) as others have pointed out Jax cannot be taken seriously as a villian.
However i do have a couple of issues,

I honestly can't believe Braindrop has a wife, or even met a woman before if this is how he writes them. None of them have characteristics or even goals beyond pleasing their 'boyfriend'. And the number of women attached to him is staggering. There's only so many hours in a day, how could they possibly be satisfied with so little companionship? It would be different if they were written to be brainwashed, or pointed out that what he has going is unsustainable, or at least had some negative emotions in there. But they all act like 1. They are in the PERFECT college relationship with the PERFECT college boyfriend and 2. there aren't literally so many other women that I doubt they could all sleep comfortably. Seriously, are some of these chicks sleeping on the floor? How much food do they have to cook every day just to feed that army of sister-wives? There's a reason harems were for sultans and wealthier types, its because at a certain point, its just a burden.
There is no story here, which is fine, I mean its a porno. But the game PRETENDS like there is a story, which is not good. Is there conflict? Character arcs? Flaws? What is the obstacle the MC must overcome? Its not sexual, girls fall in love at the very sight of him. It's not basketball, despite all the straight guys being written as tools (for committing the sin of being a potential sexual rival), its been made clear he can just straight up win games completely on his own. It might be the family drama, but again, all of his family members are women....so they just run straight back into his life and inappropriately cuddle him and act as if they are incredibly close and have been for YEARS.
