Don't know what his situation is, nor am I making excuses for him, but dev burnout is a thing. However, that's more the fault of poor planning and time management. That's what happens when you begin to do things in a different order because something (money) changed your life.
If he doesn't want to do this project to the end he should sell it to the highest bidder and get back to whatever he was doing before he became a "dev".

As I said, don't know his situation nor do I condone this lack of progress when he has such a following. He could've underpaid some sorry slob to finish what he started and still reap the benefits.
Part 1 is coming alright, but what his cult followers don't realize is that part 1 is the whole update which he scrambled together during the past couple months and will go back to stalling the supposed part 2 that don't exist yet
I do think he'll release something soonish (say, before the end of October?) in order to justify unpausing pledges. But I'm willing to bet actual cash it won't be the claimed ~2200 renders even if he releases four updates by the end of October.

has it been fixed the part where it changes how the days are counted? or is it still giving the screen telling you that it just got changed?

Nah, not fixed yet. But I have it on good authority that the Season 1 rework is still totally on track for a 2023 release.

Call me cold , but i call this BS . When someone is at that level of mental anguish , distress , and well a burnout ... they are not in the headspace where they cook up scams and constantly lie about content . And you also touched on a decent solution . He could sell off the project , or with all his income , and with the game being just honestly being porn pulp , he could have recruited even one person to work on the game , while he gets better
Best part is, he probably didn't even need to underpay someone. One of his little drones probably would've done all the work for free
