Bottom paragraph: "...my family celebrated the holidays over thanksgiving since that's the only time we could all be around so there won't be any issues with that."
Also bottom paragraph: "I also took most of Christmas day off to spend with close family."
So, which is it?
"We already celebrated Christmas so family won't take up my time."
or
"I spent Christmas doing family stuff."

I wonder if he means making each Season a separate download like a lot of the other large games. That at least would be reasonable, but doesn't excuse all the other ridiculousness.

other games have a far,far larger filesize with their games and they have no problem with compiling and other shit related to renpy....
i don´t believe that for one second.
if it where true it would be no problem to say it from the start and the first time he said he had compiling issues many people told him they can help solve that but he always ignored the helping hands or declined.
but what we got is i think 4 or 5 different excuses or radiosilence why he is late to bring an update out that was supposed to be out many many month ago.....

I fail to see why he is having complications, technical issues, annoyances or has to "figure things out" the updates were stated completed months ago and were ready to go yet time and again nothing... at this point i dont know why nobody has just pursued fraud through patreon and sued him.

if he simply splits the game in the hotel lobby (before the conversation with Dahlia) and then puts the second part from there, I think it makes sense for the narrative (which is a good hook for those who start the game now) and gives room to solve the supposed problems

I think a lot of people paying for this would be embarrassed to admit it. Message boards and chats are nice and anonymous.
Actually pursuing legal action would require identification. Plaintiff anonymity is usually reserved for protective purposes.
Multiple patrons filing fraud complaints through Patreon would be delicious, though. And if Patreon dropped him, his primary reason for leaving Azel, Wendy, and Willow out would also disintegrate. So maybe all those Azel/Willow fanboys should do it.

The rework is never coming out. The world will end several times over before Braindrop manages to get the rework out. He can't even release a single update without having to delay it for multiple years.
