Hell following my earlier rant and argument.... Frauds like this here, is also why I can't fathom paying Patreon subs to most if any developer and teams, and mostly care to pay for either complete works or complete seasons.
Because stuff like that sours and taints my impressions of the system. Because, even if of course it's not the majority, enough do abuse it, in similar and different ways. Because some stretches and bloats games for many months or years, with BS filler content from polls, pinups, calendar etc, instead of truly moving their project along. Because some will play the remake card out of the blue, when in a funk and to extend and milk further the dev cycle of their games. Because some will feel like procrastinating, lie and do very little, thanks to the subs' safety net . Because some promises can be made, goals announced, and be arbitrarily ignored and changed mid development etc etc

- He's failed to deliver status reports and updates or set dates and even hours
You must be registered to see the links. Sometimes it takes a month.
- Uses mental health problems as a crutch.
- Uses general health problems as an excuse.
- Has declared he would pause donations whenever he's doing the square root of jack shit. He almost never did.
- He freely admits to deleting completed renders because he didn't like them.

That's some BS copium and why people are either calling you out, or doubting your motives and account here. Yes a lot of the disgruntled comments would have stopped if he had some genuine enough mea culpa. And by genuine, it obviously means once or a few times, not on a nearly monthly or bi-monthly basis for years now.
There are enough empirical evidences of that. Plenty devs and studios that did screw up, confessed and owned up to it... and got most people forgiving them, or begrudgingly moving on from complaining. Of course there would be some haters, but that's it. But all of that goes away if you keep pulling that cord, then stretch and break it.. and even manage to do it with more cords.
Notice how only the biggest of F-ups like this game and some "Summery fun adventure" manage to get over a 1000 pages of negativity.
Most other big games did have issues here and there, and don't reach those milestones of doomposting and meme.
At this point I don't think he even bothers to give excuses, he just comes up with a weekly report (sometimes) with few renders and throws a bone to his supporters so they can wait till next report till next billing cycle.

He wasn't having a good day. His fee-fees were hurt from all the bad men posting things about him even though he has totally, 100%, earned the hate because he keeps setting and missing deadlines he sets for himself. Knowing full well he hasn't worked on barely anything to deliver said posted numbers (multiple times mind you).
Poor guy. Lets all sub to him so he doesn't have to sell personal belongings to make ends meet like last time.
