I agree on the "not comparable" part, Summertime Saga does not have the same 3DCG animations first of all and second of all it is a completely different game; plus Summertime Saga had an update last 1st December 2025, sooo...?!?!?

Uhh, I've played and been a fan of both games and the updates are far more different than you think. SS has had "tech updates" and removed a ton of content that was previously in the game while also taking it's sweet time to update.

yea stupid part is like 2 years ago or a year ago or something BD was like 'chapter 13 is done' then all of a sudden we were getting partial updates rather than the full thing... LOL

That's actually stunning... and I stopped reading somewhere around the end of 2022. It was just ridiculous, and sounded like a 13 year old coming up with a list of excuses for his teachers to get out of doing homework or going to school.

The real question is - how could anyone still trust him and fund his project after even 1-2 years of that, much less 4+?

Played the game, went into season 2 and nothing makes sense now, new characters we supposedly met, rewriting history with some, apparently cheating path is cannon even though i went loyal (shauna anniversery same day as Jamie) and generally just missing a bunch of shit we wont see untill the season 1 rework.

Dropped untill game is more completed - which reading the posts above seem like its not gonna be happening anytime soon.

BD isn't working on his game since 2022/23 (Even before that) apart from releasing 1 update in the span of a year.
His supporters still believe him and any excuses he has. If he were so much desperate for money he would work on his game 24/7.
Apart from doing Sheets and finding excuses, he doesn't do shit.
