Hahaha I don't know, I have definitely been thinking about repackaging the game as a standalone app with maybe more dedicated memory resources etc. But I wouldn't rewrite the engine from the ground up or anything like that - I'm not a real coder, just a writer who had to force myself to learn some code.
yeah although kotlin and compose are easy it would be too much work if you don't particularly consider yourself a programmer or don't like coding.
Well I LIKE coding but I am just not competent enough at this point in time. Maybe a couple years from now - thankfully a lot of really talented people are helping me learn these things and contributing to XCL (for instance, the guy who originally wrote the first version of the mod loader - and encouraged me to use actual source control and stuff), and am slowly learning those skills. But definitely I'm not at the point where I can make huge improvements to the engine. I did make little improvements to Harlowe to stop its native memory leaks and stuff, but nothing major.
I do have hope that one day a few years from now, you will be able to use an AI based code interpreter that can sublimate any code and rewrite it in any language. That's sort of what I'm putting my hope in! I've been training (using the fine tuning API) an AI bot with Harlowe coding knowledge to help me with refactoring game code, and it does a pretty good job. But one day it should be able to do much more advanced stuff.
i dont like the cuck content with bruce, is there gonna be a way to get him out of the game completely?, And i mean an actual in-game way and not just a toggable switch in the options menu. something like turning him into a woman permanently.

Bruce be boning any woman the MC has a interest in, even herself if pill. If one watched the anime Venture Bros, Bruce is 'The Monarch' to your Dr. Venture. Always trying to trick the MC into a Blackjack game with the loser taking a x-change pill.
that blows any incentive at all to play as the male MC. it makes the updates focused on the male MC seem pointless and a waste of time.

Because the dev did explain how one could outmaneuver Bruce by varies means. Win in Blackjack, it be Bruce getting the pill and her out of your life while he's a woman (too embarrassed). Plus none of this is for sure since the Dev is expecting to tweak this new content with feedback from backers.
