"I'm not back yet"

"I feel like I have written to you guys about my absence a 100 times by now, and I'm running out of ways to phrase it differently. I'm demotivated, I'm burnt out yadayada - you know the story."

"That hasn't really changed. But I am reaching the point where I really want it to change. I wanna try to commit more time to this stuff, and put out another banger animation soon. Something proper big and theatrical so I can jumpstart my dying socials. Maybe it'll work out maybe it won't. Maybe that something will be the fabled K/DA project. Maybe it'll be something different. Maybe it won't even happen.
I want it to happen."
Part of me wants to believe that this'll boost Yeero back to the popular page, but it's been so long that they've been away. Many artists have popped up since and while we gooners are gonna celebrate the return of the king, the general public has probably mostly forgotten now.

That being said, I think this will release late 2025 to mid 2026 based on how much trust I put on Yeero. People were critical of Rash Nemain as well for takinga little longer than usual with the Judy animation, but we know it was an amazing animation. I'm just hoping this is some massive collab that results in some of the best Blender porn, if not the best Blender porn ever.

artists like these always want to create something better than last time, or at least have it be on the same level. If you reach this point of quality then doing something new is going to take an insane amount of work and dedication which is rly hard if your motivation is lower than it was with previous projects.
I think Yeero should maybe try to take it a bit easy and do more pictures/short 10s loops before continuing with these several minute long short films that have the production quality close to the old ow cinematics team

And they are :KEK:

as he said himself

it was a fun little project, but didn't feel quite post worthy, especially seeing how different it is from my usual "art style".

but more renders are coming in a few days apparently, maybe they will be better
Just ask Forceball some advice on how to adapt MR models for more realistic art style, idk :p

ah

The first picture I want to share is one of Luna Snow, using her amazing summer skin. Initially, I made this picture as a study of the Marvel Rivals art style, to see if I could capture the look of their in-game MVP animations. My plan was that, if it worked, I would then try to do other characters as well, and make a little Marvel Rivals summer collection. Sadly, I wasn't fully satisfied with the result. Being an NPR shader, I was forced to work in Eevee, which comes with it's own set of unique challenges. While I like how it looks overall, the quality and flexibility of the lighting just isn't there yet, and will need further work. Eevee is regretably not very powerful when it comes to custom shaders, and forces you to use a lot of tricks and work arounds to get good NPR results. Blender actually does have an NPR branch, which I would like to check out some day, but for this project, I decided to see if Eevee would be capable enough.

make sense now

I usually just look at the pics and don't read, so mb :p
still not sure if it was worth to share, or MR art style being worth to study
Forceball is fucking killing it with realistic style and it looks WAY better than in the game
