Even though none of the girls want to go, except for Candace, the MC calls to take them to the downtown Christmas event, where Zeke will be with his new girlfriend. Taking Keyla there would be a terrible idea, so I guess that's why she's not an option.

Certainly makes sense. So all we'll need now is an option to leave and 'Go See Keyla'
He does invite them, and like you said they all decline and offer alternatives, except for Candace, who hasn't been there before.
I was somewhat disappointed that he didn't even have the option to at least call Keyla. At the very least, if not for immediate romantic interests, to hang out again and be there for her in the hopes of getting more information. It'll be hard to make an informed decision on if I accept what she did and why, for the reasons she gave, without a thorough talk with her. Even if she didn't want to tell the MC her feelings and wreck things with MC/Kim, why would she feel so desperate as to marry someone she admits she didn't love? MC and Kim were only dating, who's to say they'd have stayed together or even gotten engaged?

Again, despite the resident therepist arguing otherwise, real life tell you that people get together/married for all sorts of the dumbest reasons under the sun possible....often because they got pregnant which has to be right up there as one of the most idiotic. Yet people do it every day....
....Hell there's even a reality show about getting married these days. Need I say more?
Oh I fully agree that it's really done for wrong reasons. The reasons she gave, that she was desperate because the MC was with someone else seems like a shallow/cop out answer to me though.
Her being at University and pretty young seems to a bit odd to simply say "I was scared to spend the rest of my life alone as the MC was dating someone else". Maybe I'm overthinking it.... and it's really just that shallow.

When Chaquin released the overhaul update, don't know if by accident he put the download links with these banners (see spoilers below), but he deleted them minutes later.
If he keeps consistent with how he did with past updates, the girls in the chapter banners get quite a bit more content and their romance start in that chapter. So looking at it this way, Keyla will likely get a lot of things in ch4.

If I recall it was mentioned once that Keyla will get a decent amount of content in ch 4 unless I remember wrong
lol I have a bit of OCD in these games where I can't ctrl/tab unless I seen the content no matter how much I may not like something. It is the reason why I play almost every path as it will bug me until I play it unless I stop liking a game. Very few LI make it on my list where i'm okay with not seeing their content. No one in this game falls under thatwell, I'm really good at pressing ctrl/tab

I was sorta kinda kidding there... I'll play the content that is not route specific to Keyla/Kim as it may be somewhat important to the overall story, but I dislike them enough that I don't have any saves for them, so I won't see their relationship content, and I'm fine with that.
I seriously thought I was fast enough to delete these banners. I made the mistake of not naming them right, thought they were different ones and uploaded. Oh well... I'll still use them in a month or two anyway, so no big deal.
I guess now everyone knows Chapter 4 will be named 'Echoes'...
Regarding Kim's content in Chapter 4, I'd say that half of it will depend on the choice made in Chapter 2—whether you forgave her or not, the rest will be there for plot purposes. However, this does not mean she won't try to get closer to you moving forward, and you can still change your mind on that choice and be more forgiving, which will open you back to her route.
As for Keyla, her content is mainly choice-driven. You can choose to hang out with her and her roommate, which will branch into everything else that happens later.
And yes, the call at the end of Chapter 3 is exactly for that reason—Keyla and Zeke with his girlfriend in the same place wouldn't work out.
For this part I was actually building a whole Times Square in Blender, but it would have taken way too long to finish, so I decided to scrap the idea and make the girls not want to go there instead. The scenes in the game are actually what happens after they came back from there, so I basically adapted the dialogues and scrapped the whole Christmas event thing.
Candace didn't know how crowded the place gets, so it wouldn't make sense for her to decline the invitation, so they actually go, but things escalate on the way and they change plans.
Maybe in version 1.0, after the game is fully finished, I might add this part back in.
