After playing several of these AVNs recently (A Shot in the Dark, A Man For All, Law School, The Missing Part), they all have a few unique and memorable characters. The Missing Part focuses on drama with only 3 female leads, and Law School has a number of diverse, unique characters that aren't model level D-cups (the most attractive is a mute girl who communicates with sign and SMS.)

Is this game supposed to be narrative focused? Then where's the plot? Romance? They're all gaga for MC. The start of the game warns you about strong dramatic content or some nonsense.

They all feel very same. The two most different girls are: 1) the Asian you break up with which is the crux of the MC's problem (which gets resolved), 2) the law school supposedly "bad girl" one of the other girls tells you not to get involved with, which you can't.

But hey. I'm sure the dumb and horny fans love it. Take my criticism for what it's worth. Keep slopping out the porn. Enjoy your pretty visuals and above average music.

While you are entitled to your opinion, and you're free to voice it as much as you want

I'm sorry, it feels like you and I have been playing two separate games.

First of all, every girl is different, and they like the MC for various reasons.

And not every girl goes Gaga over the MC.

Some relationships are more intense than others relationships and more passionate because they have a history with the MC.

And they only get more passionate and emotional if you're on a girl's route.

if there were less characters, the narrative could focus on those individuals better. Now, we even have a new girl (Liv?) for some reason at the new business. Because why not? Let's just keep introducing characters for a non-harem/supposedly monogamous game?

you know not every character is a main girl or even a side girl for that matter. They could be a one time fuck or just a character because of story reasons and we might never them again or only sometimes see them again. i'd have to disagree I find it boring when games only stick to cast of the main girls but don't add any other characters very often as to me it's makes the world feel empty and boring.

I am fine with other female characters being in the game as just supporting characters just don't make us sleep with them so it's clear that we can't end up with them

I'm not a fan of girls you can sleep with but you can't end up with them

I actually prefer a game with a small number of Love interests that way you can get more content with individual girls

Yeah I feel like 4 or 5 is the perfect number of main girls in a non harem game everyone else just a supporting or side girl for me

  • Alessa is basically her sister. Who's had a secret crush on you for a decade! And can't emotionally do anything because her parents broke up and her dad committed suicide! Alas.
  • Candace is basically a Liv. And Liv is pointless.
  • The Asian chick is back because...? Forced melodrama. There's barely, if any, conflict. And you can forgive her or not, it really makes no difference, so who cares? Oh she changed her hair.
  • Julie (?) Is basically Alessa, only Alessa is now bisexual, and has a model girlfriend who likes you too! Ooh.
  • The Lawyer chick is supposedly the "bad girl" or some such, but you meet her once. But Alessa doesn't want you to like her! And her mom secretly likes you! Well at least the mom isn't a 10/10.
  • etc.

And it's just so homogeneous and boring. No plot hooks with anyone. No main plot. I can't seem to find much if any conflict...MC has no personality. Just pretty girl after pretty girl and their sob story. I think the only thing that entertained me was hooking up with the black dude's soon to be ex-wife.

Kind of feels like 80s soap opera slop.

Not every VN is going to be for everyone. There are some highly rated ones that I don't personally enjoy, but I don't go to those VN's threads and start trashing them. Simply say to yourself "well I don't think that this is for me" and move on.
And yes your post is in large part trashing it.
